Hybrid Academy is a school for the supernatural. There are witches and werewolves, warlocks and wizards. There are angels and demons and fairies and ghouls.
And there’s me.
I’m a wolf-shifter witch who only recently discovered that I have powers. Now it’s up to me to use those powers for good, or I’m going to lose everything.
L.C. Mortimer was raised on a small farm in Kansas, which sparked her interest in going off the grid. Learning how to can, garden, and become self-reliant were all important parts of her upbringing. After pursuing her degree in English Literature, Mortimer traveled the country with her husband, living in Hawaii, Maryland, and everywhere in between. When she's not busy dreaming up her next story, Mortimer can be found stocking up on canned goods for the zombie apocalypse.

Hybrid Academy: Year Three is the end of this series, and I loved it! I hate to see this last year come about, but at least we find out what happens to Max and her friends, as well as the world as we know it. The story builds on the previous books' intrigue, and boy- does magic abound! The romance amps up quite a bit, and we get so many questions answered and even more surprising secrets uncovered. Intrigue, surprising twists, mystery, secrets are no more, magic, and lots of paranormal, supernatural action keep you engaged. I read this book in a day as its fast-paced adventure ensured that I could not put it down. I love the characters and became very invested in what happens to them, and a lot happens to them and through them.

Max is back for another year at magic school. Her strength and powers are still growing. She has found some of her family, but still searching for more. Enemies are turning into friends and her friends are even closer than before, bailing out each other and supporting each other. Surprises and twists abound throughout the storyline. You will love all the paranormals that infiltrate the walls of the school.

This series had such great characters in Max, Henry and her friends. In this book we see them try to find Erin when shes late after seeing Alicia. To then go through so many twists and turns to come out the other side in a great way. Even after such a great battle, I totally couldn't put this down. So if you want a book that has such a kickass storyline and some strong characters this is the book.
This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series! Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
This Book finds Max searching for her Aunt Erin after Erin makes a visit to Alicia. The wild ride continues. Still trying to figure out Romance with 3 shifters and trying to save the world is A LOT! The big bad is coming ... will Max and gang prevail?
This is a well written book with wonderful world building and characters with depth.

Max, her friends and family are back for another year full of mystery, danger, and betrayal as things heat up. I was hooked from the beginning to see what Max would face this time around and how she and her friends would win. Just a good read that kept me glued to the end. Loved and hated the characters as they are written so well along with the rest of the story.
This is the third book in this series and just like the first it had me hooked. This is Max’s last year at the Academy and she continues to grow. She has found some of her family but still searches for more. So much intrigue that I did not put this book down! I’m sad to see it end!

This is a great series and this is a great addition to it! It’s Maxine’s final year as we follow her and her friends adventures in fighting the bad evil vampires. There’s some action , suspense, twists and turns and surprises and a great conclusion! Love the series and the characters!
Same as the last book events went by too fast suddenly 3 months pass by. Very small book its like 30 pages if that :/ The ending was literally non existent lmao, the mother was not mentioned unless its included with the extra chapters.
The story line was good and could have been so much more!! There were just too many "gaps" in the story. The author could have definitely gone into further detail on some things but instead everything was rushed. This series is definitely not one of my favorites but it could have been! So many questions left unanswered. Did Cara retain or lose her memories once she shifted back from a wolf? What became of Maddison and Cara and where did they go? What happened with Erin's Coven once she accepted the Headmistress position? What happened with Patricia's Vampire? I just feel like the author wasn't really into the series and she just wanted to get it done and over with. There wasn't enough "passion" (not talking about romance). There are books that can make feel absorbed into the story but this wasn't one of them.
Year Three starts out with a memory of Max's parents and what happened to them. Also it has a shocker beginning and a stunning bad guy. We see a lot happen but it flows really well. Year Three had a great conclusion to it and I loved Max getting even with Alicia such a funny scene. The Hybrid Academy will be reread many many times
Will Max and her friends best the vampires, or will the vampires win and rule the world? Maxine is starting her third year at Hybrid Academy. Over the summer she, her aunt, her grandmother, Henry (Boo), and Kiera practiced magic and tried to find out more about the potion to change people into shifters. Little did she know that on the first day everything would come to a head. Someone everyone trusted has been deceiving everyone for twelve years. And now that Maxine has her grandmother back, will they find her parents, or are they really dead. They have to work together to take down the vampires and stop them from getting and using the potion. Loved Maxine’s character and her realatives and friends. Maxine was so down to earthy. Didn’t know she had magic until recently and struggles to do it. But her friends are supportive, and someone who was her enemy in the first year has turned out to be another best friend. A wonderful addition to this series, coming back after a summer vacation of practicing magic, making potions, visiting friends Maxine learns someone she trusted has been betraying all of them. Getting her grandmother back , she is wondering if they will be able to finally find her parents. A very well written story, fast paced, suspense, fear, and a true learning experience. You have to read it to find out ..awesome read. I recieved this story from book sprout and I'm leaving a voluntary review.
