There are also activities throughout the book to help keep the student's interest. Also included is an Information Guide which helps explain items related to the stories the student has been reading; i.e. Almanac, Atlas, Card Catalog, Cartoons, Charts and Tables, Diagrams, Dictionary, Encyclopedia, Forms and Applications, Garphs, Index, Maps, Newspapers and Magazines, Schedules and Telephone Directory. This book is an excellent tool to be added to the parent who is homeschooling their child also.
