Riddles and brain teasers are a lot of fun. For lots of people this was and is a great way to pass the time and test your brain power. This handy guide is perfect for travel, school and family time. If you want to start out slow there are plenty of easy riddles. If you love a little challenge, there are plenty of mystery, math and difficult riddles readers can sink their teeth into.
For every page of riddles the answers are located on the other side of the page. No need to flip to the back of the book to find out if you were right or wrong. Readers will become engaged while solving riddles such as “What do the numbers 11, 69, and 88 all have in common?” Do you know the answer? How about this one, “You bought me for dinner but never eat me. What am I?” Can you guess the answer to that riddle?

I have a 12-year-old daughter who loves riddles, so when asked to review this book, I said yes immediately. I would ask her a page worth of riddles at a time, and she was fully engaged each time. The book had a great variety where we would either laugh, groan, or think them through. I liked that there were over 500 riddles, so we were entertained for a few weeks. The answers were also easy to find on the next page, so I didn't have to keep two place markers in the book (one for where I was and one for the answers). I gave it four stars because there was a good percentage of them we had heard before, as my daughter has a history of reading riddles in books or online. Also, once you understood the author's style, a few of them were easy to guess.

Super Fun!
What a fun book of riddles! I loved every page. I especially love how the book progresses from easy to what am I, to mystery and difficult riddles. I will refer back to this boon for a long time.

I am scared now!
I barely guessed any! Loool. This is a good book to practice critical thinking for kids. I like the riddles, however, it made me feel like I am not clever at all. Maybe using another word instead of “Clever” could be more inclusive !!

So fun and clever!!!
I knew my kids woukd love this book. But, it can coax the junior detective out of any adult as well. The riddles started easy, then quickly became much more challenging. My family and I really enjoyed it!

I bought this book for my 10-year old great-grandson. It was nice to spend time with him laughing and talking about the riddles and other topics and just having fun together.
