Absurd non-academic nonsense. The author seems to think, contrary to the evidence of history, that religion predates morality, which it emphatically does not. This is Anglo-religious, authoritarian dogma at its finest, used to justify the author's racist, bigoted, angry take on the civil rights movement and racial integration. It speaks volumes to the privileged fearful white man's experience in the American South. It is immensely ironic that these beliefs are fundamentally contrary to the teachings of Christianity. It belongs on the same shelf as Mein Kampf.
