As mentioned in the blurb, the story covers fight against mighty Rakshasha- the Demon Clan. The main protagonist of our story are Vikramaditya, Tejasvi, Akhand. The main antagonists are Markesh- his brothers, Bhanusen and Bhairavnath. I cannot and do not want to give a brief of the story as it is filled with the so many adventures and wars that other authors can write more than one series out of this book.
I am providing my feedback considering the book two genres separately. If I consider age group of “10-16” years reading this book, they will like continuous action and secrets being revealed page after page. Kids will like this kind of content.
If an adult 18+ reading this book, he may not find it that interesting due to following flows:
- Though it is an action thriller – not a single action scene properly written. Every fight has 2-3 lines. “They started fighting like this, this, this. They fought for one or two hours. One guy won.” Well, this is not what reader would want from action book.
- Those who have watch Mahabharata can closely relate final fights with Mahabharata.
- Every now and then characters go for weapon hunting.
- Well, I should not apply logic in fantasy books but in every invasion opposing army appears in battle within few minutes!?
- So many stories and adventures written in one book.
Advice for Utkarsh - Take a breath, spend some time divide it into parts and give some efforts.
Even with all negative points book can be a good read for following reasons:
- Want to learn Hindi/English
- Like Indian fantasy genre
- Likes kids stories

किताब " रक्षराज मार्केश का अंत " लेखक उत्कर्ष श्रीवास्तव द्वारा लिखी गई 4 भागों में बंटी सीरीज रणक्षेत्रम का पहला भाग है.
किताब एक पौराणिक कथा पर आधारित है , जिसकी शुरुआत होती है एक वैभवशाली और शक्तिशाली राज्य के राजा विक्रमाजीत और उनके शत्रु असुरों के राजा मार्केश के परिचय के साथ .
कहानी रफ्तार पकड़ती है जब , राजा विक्रमाजीत के एक और शत्रु बलिष्ठ उनपर आक्रमण कर देते है एक मणि के लिए. तब जब हम कहानी में मिलते है तेजस्वी से जो की विक्रमाजीत और चित्रलेखा का पुत्र है.
चित्रलेखा और विक्रमाजीत की एक बहुत ही भावुक प्रेमकहानी है , जहां चित्रलेखा जब शत्रुओं के बीच अपने पति को उसमें और अपने नवजात बच्चे के बीच में एक को चयन करने पर मजबूर पाती है तो खुद ही अपनी जान दे देती है , दुर्भाग्यवश कुछ ऐसा होता है की चित्रलेखा और तेजस्वी की स्मृतियां विक्रमाजीत के मस्तिस्क से मिट जाती है .
पर क्यूं? इसका जवाब आपको कहानी पढ़ने के दौरान मिलेगा.
ये सारा अम्बरीश का षड्यंत है, पर अम्बरीश कौन है और उसने ये सब क्यों किया?
क्या वो भी विक्रमाजीत का ही कोई शत्रु है जो विक्रमाजीत के राज्य पर अपना अधिकार चाहता है?
क्या मार्केश और विक्रमाजीत की दुश्मनी का कारण राज्य था या वे दोनों भी किसी षडयंत्र का शिकार हुए थे?
और कनिष्का जो की विक्रमाजीत जी दूसरी पत्नी है , अपने पुत्र युगांधार की मृत्यु का कारण तेजस्वी को क्यों मानती है ?
और तेजस्वी , जो की महर्षि शंकराचार्य की भविष्यवाणी के अनुसार मार्केश का अंत कर इस धरा को उसके पापों से मुक्त करेगा , किस तरह ऐसा करने में कामयाब हो पाया ?
ऐसे कई प्रश्न हैं, जिनका जवाब आपको किताब पढ़ने के बाद मिल जायेगा.
किताब की भाषा सरल है.
दृश्य, किरदार और संवाद एकदम जीवंत है. पात्रों को बहुत अच्छी तरह से विकसित और चित्रित किया गया है.
किताब की अच्छी बात मुझे लगी की सुर्वया , महिला किरदार को काफी सुंदर , साहसी बुद्धिमान और सशक्त चित्रित किया है .
किताब का पहला भाग पढ़ लेने के बाद मैं अगला भाग जल्द से जल्द खत्म कर देना चाहती हूं

ये पूरी 5 अंशीय श्रृंखला एक पौराणिक कथा पर आधारित है जिसकी मुख्य कहानी शुरू होती है जब राजा विक्रमाजीत एक षडयंत्र का शिकार होते है , और अपनी पत्नी को खो देते है , साथ ही अपने पुत्र की सारी यादें को देते हैं और इस सबका कारण है असुरों का राजा मार्केश.
कहानी आगे बढ़ती है और कुछ सालों बाद उन्हें अपना पुत्र वापस मिल जाता है और उनकी सभी स्मृतियां लौट आती हैं .
कहानी में एक और किरदार है जिसका नाम है अम्बरीश , जिसने ये सारा षडयंत्र रचा है , परंतु अम्बरीश के इस षडयंत्र के पीछे की कहानी क्या है ?
वहीं राजा विक्रमाजीत की दूसरी पत्नी और पुत्र युगांधर का कहानी में योगदान है. कहानी जब आगे बढ़ती है और इस पांच श्रृंखला के पहले भाग के अंत के साथ युगांधर वीरगति को प्राप्त करता है और जिसका कारण युगांधर की मां और विक्रमाजीत की दूसरी पत्नी कनिष्का तेजस्वी को मानती है , क्या इसमें कोई सच्चाई है ?
और तेजस्वी जिसे की शंकराचार्य की भविस्यवाणी के अनुसार मार्केश का अंत करना था , वो उसमें कैसे सफल हो पाया ?
यह किताब काफी मनोरंजक और दिलचस्प है, जिसे लेखक ने बहुत ही खूबसूरती के साथ चित्रित किया है।
जैसे जैसे कहानी आगे बढ़ती है और रोमांच भी बढ़ता जाया है.
कहानी के विभिन्न तत्व सामने आते रहते हैं , पुस्तक में कई पात्र हैं फिर भी प्रत्येक पात्र को कथानक में योगदान करने के लिए पर्याप्त गुंजाइश दी गई है।
प्रत्येक चरित्र विकास को अच्छी तरह से लिखा गया है।
वर्णन को सरल और आसान रखा गया है जिससे यह सभी पाठक आसानी से समझ सके।

Before starting my review I would like to thank the author for giving me a chance to read his debut book. This book is available in both Hindi and English language but I have selected the Hindi version. The cover page of this book is beautifully created and catches the attention of readers. So let’s check out more about this book.
Plot summary:
As mentioned in the blurb of the book, this story moves after the killing of Ravan by lord Ram. The book starts in the place called Vidharbh where the ‘Rakshsena’ and the king of Balishthgarh Bhargav are heading to Vidharbh. The king of the Vidharbh is invincible Vikramaditya.
The army of Raksh and Balishthgarh wants to grab the Divya mani from King Vikramaditya but they got defeated. But after knowing the purpose of Divya mani King Vikramaditya hand it over to King Bhargav with the promise of returning.
In this conversation, King Bhargav introduced Tejasvi to Vikramaditya. Tejasvi is the son of Vikramaditya who is got separated due to the curse of Maharshi Shankaracharya.
Tejasvi who is born for the death of Raksh king Markesh heads to the forest with his father. Vikramaditya’s younger brother Bhanusen who is actually a Raksh kills Vikaraditya with a foul play.
At that time, Tejasvi got to know that his love Suvarna is forcefully getting married to Raksh Subahu. Tejasvi and his brother Yugandhar able to save her but attacking the place which is protected by Divya mani is not in their hand.
The only thing which can diminish the power of Divya mani is Vijay Dhanush which is placed under the throne of Raksh King Markesh in Pataal. With the consent of Guru Kapish, the four brothers Tejasvi, Yugandhar, Suryam, and Akhand head towards Pataal. They have to fight with various illusions as well as raksh. In this journey, they meet Suvarya and Vakrabahu.
Will they able to get the Vijay Dhanush? Will Tejasvi able to kill Markesh? Akhand being a half raksh which side he will choose? The war will be fruitful or not where the enemies are from the same family? Read this book to know the gripping saga of good and evil.
Writing style:
The author has written this book in very interesting manner. The language is very easy and makes you read this book in pace. I have completed this book in just three sitting. However, there is a lack of proofreading and needs one round of editing.
My perception:
The author has created this book’s draft when he was in the tenth standard. This book is an example of excellent imagination. This book has perfect story development with each chapter which is the plus point. As this is the fantasy, so the author has created various characters and each character is well developed and plays a vital role. The character introduction also includes beautiful sketching. The author has merged various folklore, mythological concept to weave this story and I must admit he succeed in it. The book ends on interesting note and I am eager to read the next part. This book has drama, suspense, elements of mythology which make it a must read!

यह कहानी विदर्भ राज्य से प्रारंभ होती है और धीरे-धीरे अपनी कड़ियों में कहानी के पात्रों को जोड़ते हुए एक महायुद्��� की तरफ बढ़ती जाती है .......
जब भारत जंबूद्वीप के नाम से जाना जाता था तब रणक्षेत्रम् की कथा दो महागाथा( त्रेता व द्वापर) के मध्य की कथा है जो संपूर्ण आर्यव्रर्त पर केंद्रित है। राक्षसों के छल व लोगों के न्याय व धर्म के कारण राक्षसों , नागों व आर्यव्रत के मध्य महागाथा प्रारंभ होती है और 5 दिन के भयंकर नरसंहार के बाद खत्म होती है। कहानी का पहला भाग तो यहीं खत्म हो जाता है पर कहानी खत्म नहीं होती । कहानी के बारे में आगे जानने के लिए हमें कहानी के पहले भाग के साथ दूसरा भाग भी पढ़ना है

A mythological epic story, unfurling with the historical characters is something that don’t show up recurrently. But one such story which will enlighten you with the legend fable is ‘Rankshetram’. This story is all about the motives and causes that lead to the five days war and the endeavours in the five days war, among Humans, Demons and Nagas.
We easily get to know that the book is all about the demise of the demon king Markesh, but the actual story twitches as we get to know about Markesh, the fierce warriors, the reasons and situation which leads to the war. Though we have so many major characters, the main plot revolves around the characters of Akhand, Tejasvi, Suryam and Yugandhar, who plays an important role in destroying the demon king. Also, they have their own specialities, the boon they have got with them.
Being a mythological story, we will come across antique weapons, curses, spiritual bond between Kings, Sages with Gods, Devas and more remarkable stuffs of primeval times are embedded.
The narration of war at the end scores the credit. Meanwhile, the journey of the profound warriors to the find the divine weapons, their struggles, their courage altogether will keep your mind engrossed. The action part is narrated in a way that reader can easily picture it.
The author has opted a simple language instead of an ostentatious style, which is yet another added point, since the reader can easily get into the fiction. As said, the end of the tale is not the conclusion, but the actual beginning of the next part of this epic story. It will obviously upsurge your eagerness to wait for the next part. If you want to spend this weekend with so much action. Fight, bloodshed and war, then this is your book.

I will first talk about the cover of the book. Its so beautifully designed and apt for the book.
We all have heard so many tales about Mahabharat and other wars in past. But this is Never heard tale of A WAR & Brave Fighters . This is a story of fight between Dharm & Adharm. This is story of a War between two fighters ,one who is moral and other who is not inmoral, but support his Guru's wrong ways and wrong doings.
This is story of two generations of brothers ,one who killed his elder brother by deceit, and other who stood with his brothers even against his own Father. You can't help but feel awed by bravery of Vikramajeet to Tejaswi and yugandhr ,Rakshraj to Akhand. my personal favorite was Suryam and I literary cried when he die. The women characters are also portrayed beautifully. Chitralekha And Suvarya was not only beautiful but brave too. They played a major part in the story .
There are so many characters but each one has their own story to tell. The author has done a tremendous job of binding the story so beautifully and made it intriguing.
Its so griping that I stayed awake late yesterday night and finish it. You just couldn't put it down once you start reading it. I couldn't wait to get my hand over its rest parts. The language is Hindi but so unlike other Hindi books. Its smooth and easily understandable. The story and narration is amazing and gripping. The story moves at fast pace and left you wanting for more. It never left a dull moment in the story.
I will strongly recommend it to all the lover of not only historical fiction but adventure and thriller lover too.

There are so many characters but each one has their own story to tell. The author has done a tremendous job of binding the story so beautifully and made it intriguing.
Its so griping that I stayed awake late yesterday night and finish it. You just couldn't put it down once you start reading it. I couldn't wait to get my hand over its rest parts. The language is Hindi but so unlike other Hindi books. Its smooth and easily understandable. The story and narration is amazing and gripping. The story moves at fast pace and left you wanting for more. It never left a dull moment in the story.
I will strongly recommend it to all the lover of not only historical fiction but adventure and thriller lover too.

विदर्भ राज्य अपने तत्कालीन महाराज विक्रमाजीत के शासन मे खुशहाल जीवन जी रही थी। लेकिन उनकी खुशी पड़ोसी राज्य बलिष्ठगढ़ को रास नहीं आ रही थी। बलिष्ठगढ़ विदर्भ से उसकी धरोहर दिव्य मणि छिन्ना चाहता था और बलिष्ठगढ़ की जगह कोई सा भी राज्य होता वो भी ये ही करता, दिव्य मणि थी ही इतनी चमत्कारी, उसके स्पर्श मात्र से हर प्रकार की बीमारी का अंत संभव था और ये ही कारण था जिसने बलिष्ठगढ़ को मजबूर कर दिया वो दिव्य मणि चुराने के लिए, बलिष्ठगढ़ की राजकुमारी के प्राण संकट मे थे और उनको बचाने के एक मात्र उपाय वह दिव्य मणि ही था।
समस्या अगर इतनी सी होती तो विदर्भ के शूरवीर योद्धा सामना कर लेते लेकिन उनके सामने और भी गहरा संकट था और वो संकट कोई और नही बल्कि रक्षराज मार्केश था जो अपने रक्षगुरु भैरवनाथ के द्वारा बुने हुए षडयंत्र का मात्र एक प्यादा था। भैरवनाथ समझता था की आर्यवर्त पर शाशन मनावो का नही अपितु भगवान महाबली के वंशजो का होना चाहिए और वो अपने सपनो को पूरा करने के लिए ऐसा षडयंत्र रच रहा था जिसमे कई महावीरो की बलि चढ़ना निश्चित था।
तो क्या विक्रमाजीत रोक पाएगा बलिष्ठगढ़ को विदर्भ की अनमोल धरोहर ले जाने से?
क्या रक्षगुरू अपने मंसूबो मे कामयाब हो पाएंगे?
इन सभी सवालो के जवाब पाने के लिए जरूर पढ़े रणक्षेत्रम् खंड एक।
कहानी को कुछ इस अंदाज मे पेश किया गया है की आप अपनी भूख- प्यास सब भूल जाएंगे और बस जानना चाहेंगे विदर्भ से जुड़े हर एक रहस्य के बारे मे।
पुराणिक गाथाएँ सिर्फ एक या दो किरदारों के साथ नही लिखी जा सकती, वही अगर कहानी मे बहुत ज्यादा किरदार पेश कर दिये जाए तो कहानी को पढ़ना और समझना थोड़ा कठिन सा हो जाता है खास तौर पर तब जब किरदारों को अच्छे से चित्रित ना किया गया हो। लेकिन इस किताब मे ऐसा बिल्कुल भी नही हुआ, रणक्षेत्रम् मे तीस से भी ज्यादा किरदार प्रस्तुत किए गए है और हर किरदार का लेखक ने बखूबी वर्णन किया है जिससे कहानी को समझने मे काफी आसानी होती है। और यही नहीं, लेखक ने जरूरत के हिसाब से हर किरदार को मेहत्वता दी है।
रणक्षेत्रम् की कहानी पाँच भागो मे लिखी गई है और रक्षराज मार्केश का अंत इसका पहला खंड है। लेखक ने पहले भाग को ही काफी दिलचस्प बनाया है और कई अंसुल्झी गुत्थीयो के साथ छोड़ा है जिसके कारण आपकी अगले भाग को पढ़ने की रुचि काफी बढ़ जाएगी।
अगर आप शोक रखते है पुराणिक कथाएँ पढ़ने का तो रणक्षेत्रम् को एक मौक��� जरूर दीजियेगा।

This is a story of two generations of brothers who fought against each other and against their own father, but the fact that morals and principles of an individual play a mighty role in shaping one’s character has been beautifully portrayed by the author. The story starts from the where a man is hung with the help of five divine powers swords one who is Immortal and begging for his death Immortality became a curse for him now.
⚔️This Ranshetram is the story of middle age of two epics- Valmiki's Ramayana and Mahabharata. This is the story of the first terrific battle among Nagas , Asura and Vidarbha province.
Tejasvi, the son of Vikramaditya is born to kill the King
Markesh. He gets separated from his father.

⚔️The story is full of twists and turns and as the story progresses, the interest in the book is developed more. This is a well researched book and all the mythological creatures and concepts are created nd descripted well. The mystery unfolds as the story takes a leap. There were many awe inspiring moments in the book which kept me hooked till the last page of it.
⚔️The language posed no barrier to my reading, everything was very easy to grasp which thankfully didn’t hinder my pace of reading. The female characters in the book are a highlight and perfectly display the combination of beauty brains and bravery. I am excited to read the other four parts of the series as well.
⚔️All the books are available in Hindi and English translations on Amazon, you can pick one as per your convenience but I'd suggest you to go for Hindi translations, the essence of Mythological books lies in the language in which they are written, it will keep your interest alive.

I will first talk about the cover of the book. Its so beautifully designed and apt for the book.
We all have heard so many tales about Mahabharat and other wars in past. But this is Never heard tale of A WAR & Brave Fighters . This is a story of fight between Dharm & Adharm. This is story of a War between two fighters ,one who is moral and other who is not inmoral, but support his Guru's wrong ways and wrong doings.
This is story of two generations of brothers ,one who killed his elder brother by deceit, and other who stood with his brothers even against his own Father. You can't help but feel awed by bravery of Vikramajeet to Tejaswi and yugandhr ,Rakshraj to Akhand. my personal favorite was Suryam and I literary cried when he die. The women characters are also portrayed beautifully. Chitralekha And Suvarya was not only beautiful but brave too. They played a major part in the story .

So right off the back guys, this is going to be an interesting journey as "Rankshetram (Part - 1)" by Utkarsh Srivastava is the first part of the Rankshetram series that I'm gonna share with you guys.
This entire 5 part series is based on a mythological story whose main story begins when King Vikramajeet falls victim to a conspiracy and loses his wife, as well as gives all the memories of his son and the reason for all this was Markesh, the king of Asuras.
This story begins with the invasion of a place called Vidarbha, where there is King Vikramajeet and who is impossible to defeat. The story is all about dharma VS adharma.
As various elements of the story unfold, the book has many characters yet each character is given ample scope to contribute to the plot. Each character in the story has its own individual story. Characters have been described quite accurately which is commendable. I found this book going at a faster pace because the way it showed all the developments was very good. It is not that the author has long described the same incident that could blasphemy the reader.
The war is described in a way as if you are sitting right in front of the battleground and can evidence the massive bloodshed.
The main theme of this book is the end of Raksharaj Markesh. Overall the book was so engaging and also the cover of the book is so attractive.
I liked the dichotomy of the plot. It certainly had a lot of action. I highly recommend this book if you are interested in mythology. The book has a lot going on in it which I think is good because it keeps the reader actively reading the book.

This is more a drama than a novel. I was first skeptic since many new Hindi fictions do not have the capacity to keep you hooked, but this one is different. There are a lot many things happening in this book. And the plot is very interesting. I loved the pace. It never gets boring. But, on the same time I also wonder if the book needed more elaboration and a slow revelation of mysteries.

यह कहानी शुरू होती है विदर्भ नामक जगह पर आक्रमण से जहां के राजा विक्रमाजीत हैं और उन्हे हरा पाना नामुमकिन है। बलिष्ठगढ़ के राजा भार्गव विदर्भ पर आक्रमण करने की पूरी तैयारी कर चुके हैं। वह राजा विक्रमाजीत उनके भाई एवं पुत्रों को छल कपट का इस्तेमाल करके राजमहल से कहीं दूर भेज देते हैं। ऐसा वह राजा विक्रमाजीत के महल से दिव्य मणि चुराने के लिए करते हैं। और वह उसे चुराने में सफल हो ही जाते हैं कि राजा विक्रमाजीत वहां पहुंचकर अपनी जीत सुनिश्चित कर लेते हैं। इन सबके बीच सबसे अचंभित करने वाली घटना तेजस्वी का उस भव्य मणि को उठाना होता है। विक्रमाजीत और उनके वंशजों को यह वरदान है कि केवल वह ही इस मणि को उठा सकते हैं परन्तु तेजस्वी कैसे फिर उस मणि को उठा पाता है ? और किस कारण से वह मणि को चुराने के लिए इतना प्रयत्न कर रहें हैं? जब राजा विक्रमाजीत को उनके उदेश्य के बारे मैं पता चलेगा तो क्या वह मणि तेजस्वी को सौप देंगे?🤺
तेजस्वी का जन्म रक्षराज मार्केश का अंत करने के लिए हुआ है। परन्तु उसका वध करने के लिए जिस विजय धनुष की आवश्यकता है वह केवल पाताल लोक से लाया जा सकता है। क्या तेजस्वी, अखण्ड, सुर्यम और यूगँधर पाताल लोक से विजय धनुष ला पाने में सफल होंगे? इन सबके बीच में होने वाले रोमांचक युध्द ने इस कहानी को बेहद ही उत्तम मोड़ दिया है।

⚔ कहानी में काफी किरदारों के नाम है जो शुरुआत में थोड़ा उलझाता है परन्तु जैसे-जैसे कहानी आगे बढ़ती है रोमांच के साथ किरदारों की कड़ी जुड़ती चली जाती है।🤺
⚔ इसमें हुए युध्द का वर्णनन बेहद उम्दा किया गया है जिसे पढ़कर लगता है मानो युध्द अपके समक्ष ही हो रहा है।
⚔ लेखक ने अत्यधिक प्रभावशाली ढंग से हिन्दी भाषा की यह किताब लिखी है जो मुझे बहुत पसंद आया।
तेजस्वी का जन्म रक्षराज मार्केश का अंत करने के लिए हुआ है। परन्तु उसका वध करने के लिए जिस विजय धनुष की आवश्यकता है वह केवल पाताल लोक से लाया जा सकता है। क्या तेजस्वी, अखण्ड, सुर्यम और यूगँधर पाताल लोक से विजय धनुष ला पाने में सफल होंगे? इन सबके बीच में होने वाले रोमांचक युध्द ने इस कहानी को बेहद ही उत्तम मोड़ दिया है।

⚔ इसमें हुए युध्द का वर्णनन बेहद उम्दा किया गया है जिसे पढ़कर लगता है मानो युध्द अपके समक्ष ही हो रहा है।
⚔ लेखक ने अत्यधिक प्रभावशाली ढंग से हिन्दी भाषा की यह किताब लिखी है जो मुझे बहुत पसंद आया।

Rankshetram is a series of 3 books
I recently got my hands on the first part and I couldn’t be more thankful to have picked up this book! Though in the beginning I was sceptical as to whether I should pick up a Hindi book and that too based on mythology, where the choice of words might not be understandable by a non Hindi reader like me, but this book totally proved me wrong!
It was such a delight to read about the story of two generations of brothers who fought against each other and against their own father, but the fact that morals and principles of an individual play a mighty role in shaping one’s character has been beautifully portrayed by the author. There were many awe inspiring moments in the book which kept me hooked till the last page of it.
The language posed no barrier to my reading, everything was very easy to grasp which thankfully didn’t hinder my pace of reading. The book is fast paced and once into reading it, you will find it hard to resist the temptation to read the whole of it in one go!
Thank you Author Utkarsh for writing such a thrilling plot, I absolutely loved the storyline! The female characters in the book are a highlight and perfectly display the combination of beauty brains and bravery! All of us girls, should take an inspiration from such bold female characters, I surely did!

Rankshetram by Utkarsh Srivastava is a fantasy novel, which describes the era of Asuras and manvas and nagas. The overall plot was amazing, the story was too good and unique, I enjoyed the different races and their backstory, it was quite enough to get you hooked with the book. However, the language was really awful, the novel should have been edited properly, there were many grammatical mistakes and errors, the writer should have described various scenes and wars in a meticulous way rather than in a minute one. Another drawback which I felt was that the writer should have kept some suspense about the demise of Markesh, but instead he declared it right from the start that he is going to die, so it was really futile to evolve some cursiousness or suspense. Morever, it was his debut book, expect to read more with a proper edited novel and eager for part 2! If you are a light reader, you may opt for this novel!

The fantasy genre always fascinated me. Be it Ramayana-Mahabharata or any other. Rankshetram is a book written by debutante Utkarsh Srivastava. The tale is set in a period between Ramayana and Mahabharat. Vikramjit is the king of Vidarbha who constantly tries to kill the demon King Markesh. In the process he loses his own life and his son Tejasvi vowes to avenge his death. The quest of Tejasvi, Akhand, Yugandhar and Suryan through the patallok is also very enthralling. The thrill is kept until the very last. But it would be much more interesting if the demise of Markesh was not mentioned in the Title itself.
Now coming to the wrist part of the book. The editing is AWEFUL. Grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, naming errors are in each and every pages of the book. I was very disappointed that a very fine book is spoiler through these mistakes. The publishers should publish a revised edition.
Recommended for the fantasy epic lovers.

Nice effort
The story and the plot is good.
However it takes a bit of imagination to know what is going on in the story. If you can’t imagine and go into the era then you might get confused as to what was going on in the plot. Story is filled with action and adventures, but could have been more clear in the perspective of the plot and characters. It either goes slowly and then suddenly jump may make you think.
Overall a good effort and a good plot. Could have been better.
Being the first book of the author, worth the try.
For a beginner into books, worth trying due to easy language it has.
