I needed this books several years ago now when studying for NVQ2 In Elderly Care. to be totally fair I only ever used it twice when needed some information in my NVQ course. I found that other forms of research were more helpful to me for my course then this actual book was information I needed I found Via Local Dr's and The Local Hospital, Just by going in and explaining what I was studying for and was given leaflets as "EVIDENCE" BASED INFOMATION what the course needed.
I later lent this book to a friend who was studying for the same course and she only used it a few times as well she said the same thing about the book as written here.
all in all you can do without this book when doing an NVQ2 in Care. I would say get a library copy and don't buy if possible as it was rather expensive and hardly used.
