Niaku: Heirs of Fate

Rate this book
Rorke is a young knight of Ralthion, living a peaceful life with his family. He grew up hearing legends about the magic of Yuean and the creation of the three continents of his world: Crelissia, Aiglia and Trellisia. When the Draconids invade his homeland, his life is thrown into chaos. He finds himself in the middle of a budding war, and a sacred blade known as the Niaku chooses him as it's champion. With it, he learns the legends he grew up on are far more real than he ever gave them credit for.

I began writing at 16, when I began the Niaku Saga. My stories tend towards a medieval/fantasy feel, with knights and monarchs, dragons and magic, and often creatures like elves and shapeshifters, and some I've created for the stories. Every story is written clean, intended to be read and enjoyed by anyone of any age. Children as young as five have deeply enjoyed Heirs of Fate, and parents have appreciated it being safe for them.

This is a wonderful first book.
I have a weird emotional connection to it because I met Creswell when she was 16 at an author get-together. She's a brave young woman and I admire her spunk.
I want to see Cresswell prosper and have a fruitful career as a writer.
