Cowboy Up
Trevor McBride works on his uncle’s ranch. For the past few weeks, he’s dreamt of the new ranch hand, Devon Grange. Trevor looks from afar as his desires for the new hire drive him crazy inside. Occasionally, he’ll see Devon glance in his direction and wave, but Trevor fears his own reactions and quickly turns away pretending to work. One day, his uncle, Jake leaves the two at the ranch cleaning up the barn. This time, Trevor can’t hide his feelings and comes to realize Devon feels the same. With his uncle gone, there’s no stopping the sparks from flying. Sometimes, you have to cowboy up and take what’s given to you.

A short story about Gay Romance between 2 guys working on a family farm.
It does get a little intimate at times but over all its a great short read to escape life for a little bit!
The author did a great job of writing it. I felt like i was right there with everything unfolding.

Rather short story set on a ranch with a hookup happening after a period of furtive looks. Simple and uncomplicated.

A good sweet short story. I wished it was longer, so I could know the characters better. But I enjoyed it.

(1,5 stars) Nothing wrong with erotica but you have to put your back into it.
Summary above is also the story's opening paragraph which serves as a quick and dirty set up for a quick and dirty story about two young guys on a ranch taking a roll in the hay. It is not an ideal solution. There was not much in a way of plot or characterizations which couldn't even be overlooked for the sake of erotica considering erotica was not of particularly well written kind (spit as lube, no prep).
His lips met Devon’s, and they devoured each other in passion as he felt his hole getting abused by the stronger man between his legs.
Themes: single POV, cowboys

This tale could benefit from some length (😂) in pages. Feels a bit low-effort.
Fair amount of editing issues—missing words, missing punctuation, incorrect verb tenses. The sentence structure is odd.
The Southern speech, manner, and dialect is accurate.
The way Trevor speaks his thoughts out loud—without meaning to—is endearing.
More description and detail would be helpful. The two guys move about the setting without the author showing us or telling us that they did.
No lube is one big ouch.
Sweet, HFN ending.
