Scripture to ponder, recipes to make while you are pondering the scripture and the devotional. The drawings are so cute. This has it all and it comes right from an author with a big heart and soul. I am going to be giving this as a gift. It is the perfect size to put beside your bed to read first thing every morning to get your day started right.

Eat. Pie. Love, I mean how can you go wrong with that? Cover it with Jesus and your almost to heaven. There's not enough words to adequately explain how perfect this little slice of goodness feels in your hands. The embossed bound book cover, the vibrant pages filled with colorful drawings, the sweet book mark, the table of contents and scrumptious recipes. All so carefully thought out and prayed over just like the words of encouragement and hope that grace the pages. Whether your a fan of pie, food, authenticity, Jesus or all the above you'll love this book. I know once your friends see it, they will want one of their own. So order a few and be ready to spread the love that is Eat. Pie. Love.

EAT. PIE. LOVE by Tara Royer Steele is a beautiful book, both outside and inside. With Scripture quotes, devotions, reflection questions, colorful illustrations and recipes throughout, it is a feast for the eye and the heart! Read it and see how God can use all of our experiences--the sweet, the crusty, and even the crumbly--to piece together our beautiful stories.

Tara’s honesty, whit and humor are ripe for the picking in her first (of many I’m sure) book of devotions, recipes and artwork. She tells us that life is as easy as pie, and when we start to roll our eyes and say, “Sure it is,” she rolls up her sleeves and shows us just how easy it is to live into our belovedness. Tara knows she is loved by God and she wants to help others know that they are too. This book is her “How To” on knowing we are God’s beloved!

Eat. Pie. Love. is more than a devotional. It's an honest walk through the everyday, a warm invitation to sit and talk, a fragrant welcome to a life infused with grace and hope. Eat. Pie. Love. is as perfect on a bedside table as it is dusted with flour on a kitchen counter. As she blends words, imagery, prayers and recipes, Tara reminds us that God is at home in the details of our lives, no matter what our days hold.

This is a lovely book to own. And a lovely book to give as a gift.

This book is amazing. I’ve read quite a few devotionals before but none that have ever hit home like this one. Tara keeps these devotions honest, she makes them so relatable to anyone’s life and I’ve never really experienced a devotional like that. A bonus for me is that I absolutely love too cook and Tara shares recipes from her family that are a great boost to my soul, who doesn’t love pie? I throughly enjoyed this book and read more than one devotion a day & I’m actually getting ready to restart it. What I want now is her next book, so hurry up Tara!

Great devotionals from Tara, the pie lady from Round Top, Texas. I met Tara at a podcast event at Blessings, a camp in Brenham.
