Overall a strong book in the sense of trying to break down the art of syndication. I think the author hits a few points that Joe Fairless maybe didn’t but would still recommend Joes book as a primer.
I liked the format of the book and the writing style of the author. I found the information a bit basic for me since I already have experience in apartments. I was hoping to get more information on the techniques and nuances of syndication. This to me might include scripts to people, presentations, what to look for with attorneys, examples, etc. the information in the book was more to me about how to buy an apartment which isn’t what I was looking for. I do think it has its place in my collection though.
You’re getting the basics of syndication, along with a fair bit of pep talk and virtual coaching. There are a lot of books on the topic, and this one is decent if you are brand new to syndication. The structure of the presentation and analysis are the highlights of a pretty basic book.
The book is a great introduction to Syndication and Multifamily. Mr. Chopra has explained very well the importance of Syndication. It is an easy read with a tremendous guide for beginners. Real estate is a bit more complex than most people think, it requires skills to determine everything about REI. Mr, Chopra has shared great ideas, techniques and strategies to help you understand the art of Syndication. He also shared a wonderful method how to start as a successful syndicator. You might be overwhelmed a little with the vast amount of work of a syndicator, but this book offers a lot of great advice for beginners. He will leave you informed enough by the time you finished this book. It will help you have the right mindset of how a real investor should be. It is truly motivational and enlightening, you can feel Mr. Chopra’s positivity and determination in helping potential future investors.
