Charles vows to have Judge Joseph Gray disbarred. After talking with Harrison Tuttleson, the accountant that had worked for Herman Unsler, the crime boss, Charles discovered that Judge Gray was on the crime boss’ payroll. Judge Joseph Gray and Ex-California Attorney General Joe Monroe are both convicted of high crimes and sentenced to Alcatraz. Judge Gray convinces the warden to allow him to represent one of the prisoners that was wrongfully accused and sentenced. Two soldiers escort Judge Gray and the Prisoner to the San Francisco courthouse for a hearing. They never make it. Judge Gray kills both soldiers and escapes, which sets of a nationwide manhunt that Charles takes part in when Charles finds out the man is coming to Atlanta to kill him. While in Florida, Charles is threatened to pay $5 million dollars or all of his workers and buildings will be destroyed. Charles wires for help from the U.S. Marshals, and the U.S. Army. Charles steps in and helps to save a platoon of soldiers and capture the notorious, Carlos Brannigan.
Have enjoyed reading this series, however it seems to take forever to get the next book in this series. Everyone that enjoys a great western series should read this series and the Hunt US Marshall series. Would highly recommend this series to all that enjoys a great western story.

WLC. has penned a Storm Warrior western action adventure titled "Brannigan's Raiders" which begins with SW. In Vallejo trying to save Ghost. He does. He then travels west to Miami where he encounters Brannigan's Raiders. After the encounter in Miami he is told that one of the prisoners is headed east after escaping from Alcatraz. The chase is on. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
One of the Best. A return to some of Storm Warriors early years of action. A great read and one the fans of W.L. Cox will rejoice as they read. Lots of intrigue, suspense and action and a lot less planting of grape vines and fruit trees. You Cowboys will get a charge of this adventure. So, "Giddy Up."
