These 5 stories were definitely eye openers as the characters weaved thru others lives with false hopes and lies. Truly lessons to be learned. Good read

My Rationalization:
Story 1: Vih: Everything That Looks Good Ain't Good For You!
Vivan Wahler...Vih's story had been warned by her friend Christian about Rasheed... But will she take heed? Then there was Chad Ross, Mr. Cantrell, Mrs. White, only to name a few. How will Vih take on revenge for what had gone on in her life? Will Christian's story be able to help any of these people? Sad but a good read.
Story 2: Chey: Be You...****Who Doesn't Like It!
Chey...Cheymal Keith Brownlee, Jr, BG, Baby Gage...Reesha [his best friend] Zyear Robertson...gay friend. Chey's parents had no idea that their son was gay, so what will happen when they find out?
Story 3: A'Merica: Beware of Smoke and Mirrors!
A'Merica Karyle Watkins, who loved to visit with their father Drew, however, A'Merica didn't get along with her mom Katie. Now, why was that? Who was this friend of A'Merica... Linda? What was wrong with that relationship? How will this relationship meet up with meeting Alex online? Now, what is left to say you will have to pick up this read and see for yourself how this author brings out the story. It will be most interesting! By the end, will A'Merica be 'grateful she survived the manipulation that could have taken her life?'
Story 4: Jaceoa & Nylena: Sometimes It's Better To Be Alone!
Jaceia & Nylena were best friends and now off to college. Will these two be able to take care of themselves and do what was right and knowing when one was a manipulator when they met Lucky and Angel? Will Nylena be able to keep Jaceia on guard? This is the story that you will have to pick up and to see how this story will all come out. All that is left to say is what a manipulation this was for poor Jacelia and to do with to a so-called friend. Will she be able to get it all figured out where she went wrong, listening to the wrong person? This one was indeed a sad ending!
Story 5: Tremal & Robin: Double Lies, Ruin Lives
Did Robin want a baby, and what will happen when she finds out that Tremal [Mal] didn't want any kids? I thought his answer to this was really crazy. He said he wanted Robin all to himself! With Tremal having two households a wife, Robin and side piece [Tangie] with his twins [TJ & Trev]..well really this turns out to be quite a read where manipulation is all over the place. What an ending!
I think my favorite story, 'Story One' Vih: Everything That Looks Good Ain't Good For You! I will say all of these stories showed how manipulation was upfront and center. Each story will give the reader a lot to ponder over long after the read in how one can process what all it takes to be involved in 'The Power of Manipulation.'

Fantastic Read
Before I start please use womb - the organ in the lower body of a woman where offspring are conceived; instead of wound an injury of which the skin is normally cut or broken - to describe the sexual organ of a woman. I love this author but this mistake is made repeatedly and it's infuriating!
Ok, now that I've gotten that off my chest, I love this book. All of the stories are plausible and relevant. I hated Nylena's outcome in story 3, she certainly didn't deserve it. I was surprised that it was Big Gage that showed Chey love and acceptance but it was very welcomed! A'Merica reflects the need for acceptance and love that many children feel. I'm so very happy that Drew kept his word by being there for A'Merica. Wonderful, wonderful read!!

The Power of Manipulation is real!
Every emotion was touched reading this book. I laughed, I cried, and cussed out characters in my head, lol!
Vih story was so sad to me, I’m glad Christian had the strength to tell her story.
I felt for Chey having to live a double life, but the ending was good with his father and lover.
Poor A’merica, I wish she didn’t have to go through what she did just to feel loved and accepted.
Whew, Jaceia was as naive as they come. I loved Nylena though, and hated what happened to her! She was a true friend and tried her best to keep Jaceia on track.
Tremal and Robin...boy Tremal’s life changed in a blink of an eye! Tremal even had his momma in on his mess, smh lol. He got what he deserved in the end though, and I was happy Robin got her happy ending! All in all, this was a wonderful read that I feel everyone should check out. Each story touched topics that mimics real life. Keep up the great work Niki!

Niki Jilvonte you out done yourself with this one! 1 thing I love about this lady is she never disappoint. I am telling y'all she is the top of my list of favorite authors . This woman so good at what she do I would love to see her books on a screen. She just makes my day!! I love the message she left at the end. When it comes to dealing with people , you must be careful who you let in your life. All these character's stories touched me in sone way. My heart goes out to them all, for these characters may not be real but the situations are and I personally know some people who have been through 3 of the 5 situations I have read in this book. Y'all watch your back and know your worth ✌️

I really enjoyed the stories in this book. It really showed how manipulation can affect everyone around you. VIH's story broke my heart. I felt for her. I don't agree with the way she got revenge but her story was my favorite. Nylena is another story I enjoyed. I had high hopes regardless of what her friend had going on. It made me mad after happened to her for simply caring. I think Janecia got exactly what she deserved in the end. This author always delivers. The editing could've been better but in all I enjoyed this. Well done Niki.

This was a awesome book omg. All these stories just touched n heart but the most one was A'Merica because she just wanted to fit in and I have been that way also. Poor Vih even though she did what she did I understand why. Gage was so funny and Tremal needed his a AS whooped. Karma is real. Niki never disappoints me her books be heartfelt and so real. She has u on the edge of ur seat.

Once again, Mrs. Jilvontae has exceeded my expectations with her latest book. I am constantly impressed by her ability to surprise and engage me with her characters and their stories. I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in the world she has created. This book is a must-read for anyone who loves to experience a great story through well-written and relatable characters. I highly recommend it and can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

EXCELLENT
I loved all the stories but the first and last stories were the best. It's sad how people manipulate each other causes so much drama, chaos and heartbrake it's crazy the lengths people good just to use someone for their own gain. Everything in the darkness always comes to light. People need to wake up. This book was brilliant. Im definitely going to read it again ❤️❤️

Standing ovation!
Whew this was an eye opening emotional read. Makes you think. Ppl will stop at nothing to be accepted loved or just plain being greedy. This is truly another book I hope opens many conversations in families, friendships and relationships. Well done Nikki ❤ thank you.

I definitely recommend this compilation of short stories! The message was clear in each story...pay close attention to the people you allow in your life, manipulation can be deadly!

One of the realist and truest books I've read in a long time!!! Niki you really brought some facts with this book.... Everyone should read it... The power of manipulation...just wow!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!!!

Manipulation at it's finest
The manipulation displayed in the 5 stories will have you like WOW. I like the different stories even though a couple had problems with the spelling of names. I would still recommend this book.

Wow manipulation is awful, this book was sad to me because if everyone had listened to that little voice inside they could have avoided everything that happened to them, just sad!

When you're intentions aren't pure.......
Whew! Manipulative people are some of the worst types of human beings on the planet. I really enjoyed each story and how each scenario played out. Sometimes you have to look out for the people you look out for............

Amazing
This book had many stories in it with different twist and feels. My favorite was story 3. I was on the floor rolling when Rachael said her sister booty smelled like earring backs. I just about died. Kind of made me think of me and my sister. Overall i enjoyed each story great job on this 5 star read.

The editing was atrocious. Even characters’ names were misspelled at times. It was hard because all the stories were entertaining.
