Straight to the point. This short book focuses on specific exercises for cyclists to get the most out of your weight training with the least amount of time (or how much time you want to dedicate to this aspect of training). It also provides a chapter on how to put all the exercise options together into a plan with multiple plan options. I will use this as a reference as I progress and improve in the key areas of focus for me.

Easy to read, concise & to the point.

Very applicable to cyclists with good pictures that are Easy to understand along with his concise descriptions. Gives 3 recommended routines (all seem very doable) towards the end. The biggest part are the arrows in the pictures which give visual cues for the direction of muscular “pull”.

Excellent to prepare for biking.

Matt says biking is risky. I know because I’ve suffered. I blew out my piriformis last fall after 2 very long bike rides. I am determined to be smarter this season and Matt has given me the tools to ride injury free.
