A tightly condensed collection of short poems, the book flows elegantly through abstraction to visceral, personal pieces in the vein of "confessional poetry" without loosing it's affect or straying into obfuscation or falling prey to sentimentality. The subtly play of differing form, and the artwork, also contribute to the aesthetics of the book. An impressive debut collection.
