This book lacked what I would deem to be the most important part of presenting the “lost gold courses”, the plans. It would have been infinitely more interesting to be able to see the plans of the old golf courses overlaid on the current city plans. Only some plans were depicted in the book, and not effectively in my opinion.
There are chapters of the book that focus more on telling the uninteresting story of the people who started the clubs than describing the courses themselves.
I could not finish this book.
