As I finish The Art of Submission I see that there aren't any reviews yet, so I suppose I should leave some words. I don't have much to compare it to as this is a genre I don't normally read, but it has 2 things going for it before I start. It was first published in 2001, before the advent of eBooks encouraged people to self-publish regardless of quality, and it was written by a woman, which I took to be a good omen bearing in mind the subject matter.

The plot involves Vanessa, a young woman who travels to a remote Scottish island to be an artist's model. The position (for want of a better word) turns out to be much more than posing for a few snaps. As the title suggests, Vanessa becomes a plaything for Michael (the artist) and his female assistant. I should note here that Tessa Valmur either has a splendid imagination or a very colourful experience of life.

The Art of submission is as well written as it needs to be, although there are a few errors here and there I've read much worse. It probably goes without saying that those without a liberal mind need not apply as many of scenes may be considered extreme by some. However, if BDSM is your thing then I can't imagine that you would be disappointed.
