Terrible book. If you're into the spanking type of love and romance genre, than this book is for you. I found this book to be lacking in so many areas. The storyline at the beginning has its plot dropped and abandoned somewhere after about the first few chapters. You never get to find out what happened to her brother and this other elder gentleman pursuit of the lead female. Than the lead character is consistently stating she's going to leave but never does. In fact... I don't really think this book let's these characters venture outside the jail cell or the lead character's home. In short I think this book had way too many holes in it and both of the characters were immature at best. The story doesn't make a lot of sense in some places and then there are other times when their lack of information when there needs to be. An example would be like this one: Why did this Scottish guy move all the way over to the U.S.? The book reads that he had a falling out with his father and wanted to earn money to help out his people back home. It seems like a fairly reasonable answer (well maybe only a slightly reasonable one) but then why did he move to a (almost quite literally) one horse town. This all takes place in a town with only a handful of people. I could even go as far as to say that it was a ghost town. Anyways I could go on but I find myself getting more agitated by the minute as I try to recall some of the details and events in this book.

This is a great story with one fiesty heroine who has finally had enough and decides to take matters into her own hands. But when she finally finds her husband he refuses to give her an anulment like she wants and decides to keep her. This story has great characters who have reeally good chemistry together.
