About the author

Dineo Dowd was born and raised in South Africa, now based in Madison, Wisconsin. She is a stay outside mom and a wife. She was motivated by her adventure Daughter to write children's picture books dedicated to nature. She spends all her summer camping and hiking. After she became a mom in 2015, she couldn't find the children's picture books about families hiking with kids, that's when she started writing ''Adventure Day'' to motivate little kids to spend time outside exploring nature, her goal is to write more culture diverse outdoor children's book in the next coming five years.

A beautifully illustrated book that shows different nationalities getting along. The story is simple and practical and something that is no cost and good fun. This story can be read again and again. The type and font is easy on the eyes.

Cute

This was a very cute story about a day out hiking with friends. Lovely pictures to go along with the story. Loved it.
