Monarch Butterflies: Life Cycles

Rate this book
All animals go through different stages of growth between the time they are born and the time they die. Theses stages in an animal's life make up the animal's life cycle. Giant Pandas, monarch butterflies, poison dart frogs, and Komodo dragons all have life cycles. But not all animals go through the stages of their life cycles in the same way.

Monarch Butterflies are insects that go through many stages of development. When they hatch from eggs as caterpillar, they look nothing like their parents. As they grow, they change from caterpillar to pupa, and then become adult butterflies.

I would use this book in my science center.
