If you are of the belief that there 'are no Palestinians' and never were, this book is essential reading for you. There are a million places to learn about the history of Palestine, but this one is terrific. I enjoyed very much the walking tour of what is now the world's largest prison, and it was very interesting to hear a pre-conquest voice describing the people, places and culture of a land which so many people believe never existed...
