action... danger.. suspense.. love.. angst... laughter and tears.. this book has most the emotions and made you feel them all. very good

This is the third book in the Fateful Justice series. The first two books focused on a popular actor, Lash Brogan, and his troubles with people out to kill him. This book, "Retribution", follows his former bodyguard, John Hoyt.
Hoyt, a former Navy SEAL, has decided that it's not a good idea to be the bodyguard for a friend. So, at with the encouragement of FBI Agent Ward Calhoun, who he met while guarding Brogan, he decides to join the FBI. Little did he know that along with a career change, he would find himself in a relationship with his gorgeous partner, Angelina Nobles.
On his first big assignment, Hoyt and Ang are trying to find out what is going on with a US Senator in Wyoming. As they work to figure out who is killing prostitutes in the area, they become more and more involved with each other.
This book, like the first two in the series, is full of danger, intrigue, and plenty of twists. But, it is also full of passion, new relationships and discovered love. I can see the author writing many more books in this series since it is full of wonderfully written characters that I would love to see find true love.
If romantic suspense is your thing, you can't go wrong with this book (or the first two). Well-written, fast-paced and full of steamy romance, you won't be disappointed. I was given the chance to read this book through Candid Book Reviews and chose to review it.

Another great book. Once started you won't want to put it down. Action and romance with a large splash of drama and filled with mysterious crime scenes to solve. Not everything is black and white as it seems. But even then it can and will be solved somehow. Characters are strong and willing to do what needs to be done.
So when a spree arson wave hits the city. The local cops decide to hand it off to the best FBI agents they can find. And Agent Ward decides to put his best new agent on the job.. Agent Hoyt, yes Lash's old head of security bodyguard. He's happy to take the job and prove what he can do. And now he has a new partner and she's a firecracker. But sparks start to fly when they get near each other. Will they sort out this mess of a crime and wrap up with what's going on between them? Or will the heat that's between them be their down fall.

Since I did read the one before this one and liked it, when I seen this one I wanted to continue on so opened it up. This had interesting factors in it such as former Navy Seal which had me from the get go. when John enters FBI it is different ground but comes across a familiar face. Wowzer second chance romance to in this bonus day. Angelina has a case that is front and center and deadly so when the two pair up we are also. Right ingredients-murder, suspense, danger and romance. Once you begin this one you will find you also want to help solve this.

This was another great read by this author. I have only read one of the other books in this series but would like to read the one I have not yet. I also look forward to reading book 4. I like this author she has a good balance of romance and suspense and or drama. I am glad I choose to try out a new author. I would recommend this book to others who enjoy this genre. They are sure to enjoy it too.

Book three in the Fateful Justice series a well written suspense, romance story that held my interest until the end. Retribution continues the story of Lash Brogan and his friends This is former Navy SEAL and bodyguard John Hoyt and FBI agent Angelina Nobles' story there is suspense, drama, danger, intrigue, murder, and romance. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the icing on the cake, author maintains intensity. Once I started it, I was up late finishing it because it was just that good. Love the friendship John & Lash have and the adventures John & Angelina kept me glued to the pages.
