It's a great read that briefly accentuates the role and importance of a "social analyst" in any development project. Generally any development project focuses on the involvement of science and technology, ecology, environment conservation, livelihoods etc, but all of those are studied and analysed exclusively. The book explores the idea why it is more important to collect all the ideas to frame a solution, which helps and serves the people for whom the development project is formulated. The book not only talks about the role and importance of social analysts, but also works as a little guide for the analysts. Starting with addressing the problem right to finding a good mediation for the problem, the book talks all about it. The small anecdotes given in the flips and boxes of the book act as cherry on the cake.
