"Best series, Hands down. The only books you will ever need or want. Her style is unique and down to earth. Some of it gets you mad as hell and some gets you balling your eyes out. She is an amazing writer and very intelligent. Each character has their own story and distinct personalities. Be warned: after reading her books, other authors' books seem like child's play."

"Don't miss this series!! Wow and Wow! Roller Coaster! Grown folks stuff! Not teenage paranormal romance but complicated, complex adult relationships, intrigue, mystery, hot sex, fantasy, and romance! This is EVERYTHING you'll ever want in a paranormal fantasy series!! It will make you cry, laugh, cheer for the heroes and heroines! All of the characters are well developed with strengths and weakness, beauty and flaws. Exciting plots! Intriguing twists and turns! You'll enjoy the mythical, the fantasy, the history! This is a wonderful series! I'm having trouble trying to find something to keep me busy until the next book!! What in the hell am I going to do with myself!!"

"Joins my other favs like J. R. Ward & Angela Knight. Read this book!I stumbled on this book as a suggestion from Amazon and the reviews for it listed it a favorite to people who also liked my other favorite authors such as J.R Ward, Angela Knight etc...so I said why not. I'm always looking for other series, other authors that create books/stories that not only make me stay up all night reading but also I enjoy re-reading many times. Let me tell you, this author has done that with a unique story & characters that had me hooked from the very beginning! I know this will join my other top favorite series that I will read over and over again! I have lots of books but only a select few that keep me coming back to relive the adventure. I hope this author keeps writing and sharing her imagination with us. There are so many characters in this series with stories yet to be told & I'm so looking forward to those! "

"Hands down the best book series I have ever read. I Devour the books and coming from somebody who reads all the time this is an extreme compliment. I have never read such a well-written book where the story line develops with so many characters I love knowing what's going on with everybody I love that you switch characters back and forth it is so awesome.

This collection made it easy to follow the storyline. It was quick and easy. They sort of stand alone, but when reading the collection, the next book just picked up where the last one ended.
This is a family of not quite Vampires, they are immortals, who exist, and have existed for thousands of years, the family is a tight group of Scottish men and women, and the tales are carefully explained. These immortals are separated into good and evil - of course, and they are very tall, very strong, very very attractive, very sexual beings. They posses gifts, superpowers, if you will. There are also mortals who can become immortal. While these superbeings don't consider themselves vampires - along what we all know through Wiki - can't go out in the daylight, kill people with their bites (although that is a possibitlity.) Ok, getting off-topic...

Kian meets Syssi, falls in love, she's one who carries the gene, she can be turned. She falls in love with him before she realizes he is this immortal being. And there's the simplicity of these books, she's just like - okay, he's a vampire, but do I want to be one, sure, why not, so bite me already, but we have to get married, and have children, right? I'll live forever, so, I'll never grow older, how do I explain that to my brother and my parents. Get my drift? Still, easy to read and entertaining.

I was totally immersed in the clan's story...

This story was so well developed, all the characters were believably real, that i felt like i was in the story, observing everything that occurred. Basically, the clan members were all descendants of a god. The other gods had been destroyed by the evil immortals, who wanted the destruction and/or enslavement of all mortals. The evil ones were called the Doomers. Our clan, the good immortals, were trying to save humanity and the world. The story becomes quite involved as dormants, or humans with a supernatural gift, are identified and turned into immortals. Shockingly to me, a Doomer leader meets and falls in love with a daughter of the only living goddess. There are so many unexpected twists and turns, that i was delighted to see that there are more than 20 books in this hard to put down saga. I cannot wait to read them all, as they are all in my tbr pile. If you enjoy mysteries, family sagas, romance, fantasy or science fiction, you will enjoy this incredibly fascinating story.

Lots of titilation. Very long. I speed-skimmed many of the pages as it was a repeat of the same theme over and over.

Lucas is a master at colloquialisms. If you want to learn the latest semi-slang (maybe from 10 years prior to 2023), this book has it all. OCD would not let me stop reading it altogether. The story was nice. Lots of beautiful people with no real tragedies in the immediate lifetime. Happy endings. Aside from the sex scenes (a LOT of the book), it would be perfect for teenage girls.

I kept waiting for the shoe to drop. It never did, but there are several other mega-books in this series of Mega Boxsets so I'm guessing the sadness is yet to come.

Captivating Read

The story is well written and has a bit of everything - romance, drama, humor and suspense. The characters each possess their own bit of magic and intrigue that develops the more one reads. The structure of each chapter by the main characters’s POV kept me reading non stop as I was most interested to see what happened when one particular chapter ended and thus continued reading until I reached a character’s particular chapter again. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes the fantasy genre.

Children of the Gods - mega box set 1

Wow!!
Cannot recommend this author & this bookset enough….I haven’t been able to put it down…I have laughed, I have cried…..been angry, happy, sad & scared ….the author is incredibly adept at weaving characters, emotions & storylines …It’s been a long time since I have been so invested in the outcomes of every single character & event……can’t wait for mega box set 2 (off to get it now )……do yourself a favour & let yourself be immersed into the mind of I. T. Lucas…..you won’t be disappointed 😃❤️🌹

very slow

The premise for the story sounded awesome. The book was boring. The majority of it seemed like each character was always in their own heads living out their storyline. Not enough character interactions. Both main female characters had no dimension. The male chapters were way more interesting. The bodyguard cousins and the goddess had more natural personality than the other characters. Kian’s female has absolutely nothing going for her. No character development for her at all.

Long, dragged out, repetitious

I really wanted to like this... seemed as though the story might have potential to be something different. Wrong. The characters started out interesting, then it degenerated into a lot of unnecessarily repetitive descriptions, indiscriminate sex and poor behavior from the "gods", and long, dragged out conversations. Yes, I finished it, but it was more to help me drift off to sleep at night. The whole gods-thing was a put off too, especially when the real God was half-handedly ignored or disdained.

I haven’t read a paranormal series in a while but I’m enjoying it. I always enjoy a series this long you can really get into. The premise is cool and I like how the characters are in all the books so their stories continue past the books that focus the on their love story. I’m up to book 17 and my favorite so far is Brundar and Callie. There is a bit to much “head space” talk for me but in general this series is worth a go👍

I. T. Lucas is Riviting

The Children of the Gods series is so great I’m on my second read!

Book 6 featuring Amanda and Dahlu is a serious tear jerker and love story to top all love stories.. I. T. Lucas brings home the waterfall in this book as never before!

I read by Arthur and I. T. Lucas is one of the best she knows how to balance a story with the intimacy that doesn’t make you cringe, she is accomplished.

Already got the next set

These books flow well into the next one. New characters build on what is already happening, and initial characters gain depth. Only two things bothered me a little - switching between so many characters when I wanted to keep reading the scene/story of one perspective, and not realizing a book was ending because I had a six book set all in one. But that didn't detract from jumping into the next one asap.

First six books

I had a little trouble in the beginning getting into the story, because the premise of several gods was foreign to me. After getting over my own belief system, however, I could not put the books down. Even now, I can't wait to read the next book. Although the gods have a lot of powers and live forever, the author gives them human characteristics and humans like life lessons that I want to see how it works out for them.

Love it!

I'm not usually one for romance, but this hits all the right buttons!
It's got suspense, drama, strong women, spice, paranormals.
I don't care, particularly, for Kian's alpha male tendencies (or that Syssi isn't more forceful when he's being a jerk), but the other guys make up for it, so I didn't deduct a star. I'm hoping the future books will focus less on Kian, and more on the others, but I'm too engrossed now to not finish, so it's whatever.

Recommend reading in box sets

I recommend reading this and box sets and not individual books. The sets allow the storyline to smoothly flow from book to book! At first it was like Twilight with the characters in their mid twenties instead of high schoolers! BUT then it became Very Intriguing especially as the story progressed from book to book! And as the story continues on!! I Will be reading the next Megabook set 6.5-10

Great read.

I did not know why i took the time reading this boxed set. It was incredible. I continued reading on and on because i couldn’t bear the suspense. I have to know what happened next. The characters are wonderful and the writing is good. Its like i am watching the characters in my mind.

Wow!

This storyline is amazing. All the thought and background is truly fantastic. I couldn’t put it down. The true love bond of each couple I’d definitely one every woman wants. And the unbelievably sexy scenes were so hot and steamy I read them all twice. Can’t wait to read the next box set which I have already downloaded. Happy reading... ❤️

ASTONISHING AND BRILLIANTLY. WRITTEN!!

A page turner but more…..the stories are about a family and soon the reader truly feels invested in each character and their clan. Complicated stories are easy to follow because I. T. Lucas is truly a gifted writer. Amazing and a MUST READ!

Good.

Good story, good characters. It had a lot of sex but it was easy to skim past. Also dom/sub. I think the author really liked shades of grey or maybe it was a big deal when they wrote this. Overall the plot is excellent. I'm going to Keep reading. My favorite characters are anandar and annani. They are humorous, witty and kind. Unexpectedly Dalhu really grew on me.

I loved the characters. Very relatable and felt like I knew them. It had a different take on how you turned immortal which I appreciated. I barely slept so I could finish it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves fantasy, while also being a part of the real world and has immortal woman who are the aggressively sexual beings.

Gods mega box set 1-6

I truly enjoyed all the books. The character’s strengths and weaknesses were written well and the reader could get behind each of the characters. The supporting characters also peaked my interest. I
Can’t wait to read more about their story.

I enjoyed these books even though the sex scenes were a bit too long and the alpha male machismo was getting annoying by the end of the 6th book. The underlying storyline is good so I will continue to read the series.

So good!

I’ve read this book twice. It’s so good. I’ve cried in places and laughed in others. It’s very entertaining. The only negative I have is that I’ve had to wait a few times for the next book a to come out!

This is a wonderful collection of this series. I just wish I had gone to her website at the beginning. I found that there are 2 "Origins" books that take place before this collection of books 1-6. It would have been nice to have found out how it all started, first.

Hmmm is ok

Starts with poor erotica and is a lot of repeats and frankly started to be boring and annoying… when I learned to skip the chapters with very dull characters ( Kian and Syssi) the book become more interesting interesting …

Mind Numbing Detail

Not a bad story and overall the writing was quite good but the level of detail and the endless "he said" 'she said " made it drag on. I downloaded the series but couldn't even finish the first book. I was too bored by all the description and useless dialogue.

Long but food

This is a number of trilogies and interconnected stories and may take a long time to read all 67 of them. But I have a enjoyed this set 1 to 6 as the first set of fairytale and fantasy tellings.
