Basic relevant information, however, the one I got was a little outdated, I thought.
Nonetheless, it's a good learning material for a newly diagnosed patient.

February 6, 2017A good book for a new (or veteran) diabetic. The book addresses everything from food to eat to diabetic medications. There are many many such medications. The book addresses areas in medicine where diabetes might have an effect - eyes, feet especially. The book is just the book to have/ read for someone who was recently diagnosed with this disease. As a diabetic for several years, I found this book useful - and encouraging as I live with this ailment.
If you have a chance to read this book, it would be well worth the time.

Okay book. Nice on how the author puts everything in concise formats . She includes info on traveling abroad along with info on how to access English speaking physicians. Though this was an edition printed in 1999 some things may need revising such as in the exercise section it is now recommended you stretch out as part of your cool down not before you work out.
