This is a great poetry collection, and I am very pleased to have had a poem accepted for inclusion.
There is a wonderful variety of love and sea themed poems throughout the book, sometimes looking at one or the other theme, sometimes mixing both. And as someone who has a special fondness for the coast, it was brilliant to see that other people share that same passion and connection.
There is a wealth of poems on offer in different styles and voices, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading each of them. There were a few that really stood out that I wanted to give special mention to -
My Familiar by Cordelia M Hanemann
Restless Reticence by Shelby Lynn Lanero
The Visitation by Tyson West (my favourite poem in the collection, simply brilliant!)
Fishing for the words to say 'I love you' by Shawn Klimek
Blue by ECM Rowntree
Moses Lake by Tyson West
Each of these poems really grabbed me and demanded repeat readings, the beauty and elegance of the writing for each is something that I aspire to as a writer.
A great book, full of wonderful writers!
