I really enjoyed this MC Romance. The characters are dark and dirty but also so real. Slice was a great character to read. The series overall has been great! The only downside is all the grammatical errors I've found that are distracting and take away from the storyline.

After being forced into a marriage she never wanted, Jen finally got the chance to escape when her husband was sent to prison. This was her break from her family and from her past. But moving on with her life isn't as easy as she expected it to be. And all bets are off when she meets bad-ass, leather cladded biker, Slice.
Slice is tired of the bar flies that hang around Lucifer's Lair MC and when he meets his Prez's girl's best friend, Jen, he knows he's found his match. With a hysterical scene where Slice and Jen trade cheesy pickup lines, it's obvious that they are perfect for each other. The only problem is that Jen is still married and unbeknownst to her, her husband has been released from prison.
I really like how this book tied into book 1, Taming The Bear. It was nice to see Chantal and Joe again, along with the rest of the MC.

Pretty good story. Jen is my hero. Such a great character. And although I am not big on the name Slice, I do like him as a hero. Slice is a great guy that doesn't like to be lied to and does not like it when he finds out that the women he is falling for are living a "double" life. The problem is that Jen has a story to tell that needs to be told and it might be late by the time Slice cools off.

This is the 2nd book in the Lucifer's Lair series.
This book is told in dual POV from Slice (Noah), a lieutenant for the Lucifer's Lair MC and Jen a blue haired beauty who is a hairdresser and gives lessons in pole dancing.
Slice and Jen are two of my favorite characters and their “competition” to see who has the best and cheesiest pick-up lines and me in stitches! The chemistry between these two is undeniable.
There was a lot of hot sex, great banter, humor, drama and the mystery of who Jen really is to keep me turning those pages. When the secret is finally revealed, will Slice still want Jen? Will Jen lose Slice to the world she is desperately hiding from?
Once again the downside to this book was the grammatical errors and misspelling of words. I think that Ms. Rose should hire either an editor or proofreader to go over this book and then do re-lease. The ending was not really what I was expecting, it fell flat for me. Could have used a few more paragraphs to complete the ending.

In this second novel of the Lucifer's Lair series, we meet Slice and Jen. There is a whole lot of mystery around Jen's life before we meet her at her hair stylist job where she's currently at. Who is she? What kind of background does she come from? What happened before she left home? What happened when she was 15? Who are her father, Sal, Jimmy, and Gordo? How does she meet Slice? Who is Chantal and how does Jen know her? This was a book that was full of secrets, action, mystery, and some really hot sex scenes. It was a fun MC read. It may seem that it ends a little abruptly, but I didn't feel like it did. I felt that it was a great ending. Each book in the series is meant to be read as a stand alone novel. Looking forward to reading more in the future for this series.

So I will say after reading book 1, I was hooked on this series. I found myself sunk into their world and couldn't escape even if I wanted to. Jen, I was hesitant on at first. She's so out there and random things just come out of her mouth. I wasn't sure if she was able to be serious or not. I was wrong. She has a dark childhood. She was forced to do something she didn't want to do. It's gonna come back and haunt her. I get why she didn't tell many people about it but she could have warned or said something earlier to Slice. He and her could slam one liners to each other all night long if you let them. The chemistry between them is undeniable. He definitely knows how to make her kitty happy. This book has a whirlwind of action in it. It keeps you going until the very end. I seriously didn't want to end. The characters are great like always. They have their problems but they deal with it together as a family. That's what I love most about Lucifier's Lair MC.

Good!
Book 2 of the series and it kind of follows on from book one, although you could read it as a standalone book, because it is a different character's story. I do enjoy catching up with this series, I love MC books. This is a typical MC story, drugs, hitmen, guns and gangs. The only thing that stoped me giving it five stars is the editing. A decent edit And it could be a fab book.

Left me wondering
The storyline is great but the book is missing parts, it is need of new editing. Chapters are not comp!are and it just ends in the middle of a chapter. For example like your watching a movie and your power goes out. I'm highly disappointed that I never got Jens ending WTH?

What a ride!! I couldn't put this book down, after reading Bear and Pinky's story, I was hoping this one of Slice and Jen's didn't disappoint and you delivered!! I can't wait to read more from this author.

This could be read as a standalone, but obviously reads better having read bk 1 Taming The Bear. A good read- the storyline has some twists and the characters are good. This book could be great though with either an editor or proof reader going through the book.

during the first half of this book I was tempted to DNF. However it turned out to be a pretty good read it just took me a while to get into it. I would have rated it 4 stars however the editing and grammatical errors where horrible and took away from the book.

We meet Men in the last book. We find out so much more about her. Slice falls for Jen the moment he meets her Hair relationship is a roller coaster of emotions. Her last invaded their lives putting everything and everyone at risk

A blue-haired vixen on the lam and a biker who can charm the panties off of any girl come together and have to find a way to survive what’s coming. This was a great story. Lots of lust and angst as well as a very satisfying ending. A great addition to the series.

Full of humor, suspense, drama, lust and amazingly hot sex. After reading The Bear and Chantels story I couldn't wait for Slice and Jen's story. Ms. Rose didn't disappoint. Great story!
