Brick the Almighty - or so he would call himself - thought he wanted nothing more than to be as rich as a King. An idea nice in theory, but not one that exactly seemed achievable in Brick's current circumstances... Back in reality, Brick, like most days, was midway through another bout of senseless thievery.
Yet, fate transpires to change the course of his life. He and his best friend/ worst enemy Kevyn (the magical goblin) are soon sent on a heroic quest to recover King Roosvald from the Grey Highlands; the lost realm of the dragons. With great rewards on offer, perhaps the riches he and Kevyn craved would soon be theirs?
Just as their goal seemed within reach, an unexpected change of heart arrives. Soon, Brick, Kevyn and their new friend Tali the Vampyr discover there is more than just gold and jewels to be conquered. Riches - they discover - can also appear from within, and Brick realises he must stay true to himself to be as happy as he always dreamed he could be.

The Dragon King of Qas'an-Veloor comes from Brisbane-based author Brett Walker. Brett, tired of the same old childrens' books, wanted to write an epic fantasy tale that could be enjoyed by kids, toddlers and parents alike.
