The importance of this book - for those who love Humanity and life on this beautiful planet we call Earth - cannot be understated. And its timeliness, as well, could not be more perfect. Life the world over has reached a state of stress and frenzy as has never been experienced before now. The reasons for this are numerous, not the least of which is the set of current and emerging technologies which we all take for granted and seldom question. But the author has done us all an incomparable favor in identifying and discussing the critical elements of current Human existence on Earth, how they impact us both individually and as a society, as well as our inextricable relationship with our beautiful and amazing home planet – the only one we have. This information would be gift enough, but the author likewise provides us with the mindset, approach and plan of action that is the rational and spiritual response to the unavoidable challenges presented. With deep research, high intelligence and poetic beauty, Julian Rose speaks eloquently and directly to each of us, to explain why we all – Humanity – must come through, both for ourselves and our future as a species, and for Mother Earth.
