My book is the Negro league baseball. This book is by William brashler. The setting of this book takes place in the different stadiums and the tour bus of The players. This book is about the life during the Negro league baseball. This book is also about the life of each player and there hard times. Negro league players had some tough times with racism. I rated the book 5 out of 5 stars because this book is really interesting and consisted of facts I had no clue that happened. It also had you turning the pages to see what happens next.

Well written history aimed at middle school to high school students. Of value for some unique photos. The book grew out of many interviews the author had with Negro League stars, and his chapter at the end "Old-Timers" is particularly poignant in discussing the lives of Negro League players after their playing days were over.
