Just okay. I put together a list of plant-focused cookbooks with the intent of orienting my diet more in that direction, and this book was the highest rated on my list . . . so I have low expectations for the rest. In short, there's no such a thing as a high-protein, low-fat, plant-based diet that doesn't rely on protein powder.
Note that I'm speaking of a diet specific to athletic performance, which would generally have 20-25% fat, 25-40% protein, 40-55% carbs by calories, depending on the type of training you're doing and the direction of your weight goals. Healthy plant-based nutrition exists, but including some lean meat/fish/poultry is optimal and a lot easier to create a performance-oriented diet.
Still, this meal plan has a good macronutrient balance, so kudos for that. The salad recipes in particular seem well-crafted. Many (most?) of the others only qualify as high-protein because they have a scoop or two of protein powder. Meh.
The book is well organized & thought out. Also, there are many tips provided to make meal planning easier. Even beginners can feel very comfortable with this book because the recipes are very straightforward and not complicated to make. It includes a flexible 30-day meal plan and you’ll also find a shopping list that will help you make your shopping trips more convenient and efficient. What I like the most that there is a wide variety of recipes in the book.

I have been using this recipe book for a month now, but have only cooked 20 recipes from it thus far. To preface, I’ve found that the recipes in this book are very simple and easy to follow, well portioned (for those that like doing meal prep for a couple of days), and to put it simply—delicious. I’ve haven't gotten tired of eating the dishes that I’ve cooked so far which helps me stick to a healthier way of eating and maintaining good nutrition.
This year, I guaranteed myself to at last change my body. Since I realized that cooking would have been an issue, I set myself up with EASY recipes that assist me with getting all the protein I need… These blends have been well justified, despite all the trouble and make my staple excursions and time in the kitchen so. This is an incredible book for anybody needing to begin with the plant-based eating routine in light of the fact that most plans are extremely easy to make. They don't require oil, taste great (attempted 10+ up until this point) and perhaps in particular, get all of you the proteins you need in a day from nature!!
I absolutely love love LOVE this cookbook! As soon as I opened my copy, I just had to flip through the WHOLE book .The recipes are also creative and so easy to follow! Oh and most importantly--every recipe I have made from this book has turned out amazing and so delicious!! Coming from someone who is not vegan and who also frequently cooks for a significant other who loves to eat meat. You don't have to be vegan to enjoy these amazing recipes-- they are delicious, flavorful and have added great variety to my meals.
I’m amazed at how this book gives you a specific plan to kick-off your diet - complete with a meal plan and shopping list. It’s fun trying all the new recipes. I lost 5 lbs the first week using this and stayed the same the second week. I did not measure portions or count macros - I simply ate the foods on the schedule. The recipes were very good. I didn’t spend a lot of time in the kitchen. So, if you don’t mind all this, this is a great cookbook to get you going on this way of lifestyle! Good beginner book for Plant-Based diet!!
Pictures of the most beautiful recipes. Knowing great meal recipes and meals is great, I love making weekend meals. While I enjoy cooking, this is a good cookbook for any busy person. Not filled with recipes that take at least an hour to appear on the table, the book is filled with delicious and simple recipes. I haven't cooked all of the recipes in the book, and it might take some time to cook them all - but the recipes I tried were delicious. It was hard even to decide what to cook and can't wait to prepare it. It's a book that inspires you to make so many delicious foods.
The plans will make cooking significantly fun in light of the fact that the greater part of the plans appear to be flavorful and will assist me with getting my protein needs without any problem.
They have nourishment information per serving and a decent 30-day supper plan which is useful as I'm attempting to cut for summer. Also, it's hard for vegans to get their everyday protein need. This book will be amazingly useful!!
This is a full-fledged vegetarian cookbook. It shows how a vegetarian diet can be unhealthy and how to make it healthy. Most of these recipes are made with easy-to-find ingredients. Meal recipes are usually served from 4 to 6 people. Some recipes lasted 20 minutes while others took an hour. I made some recipes and enjoyed them, it was not very complicated. I expect that we will be using this cookbook a lot. I recommend it to those who want to eat healthy meals often.

It's one of the first cook books I've brought that I've been really excited to use and to make food from. Everything is easy to follow, and gives great inspiration for how to present your food too. A very informative book about the body and nutrition especially for the Plant-Based High-Protein world. Also it contains 90 different recipes what I like about them is that I can cook multiple meals in one session and just fill my fridge with them and when I have a busy day I’ll just grab one of them and enjoy the taste!
