A great book that shows how the powerful influence the press has on American Politics. Marlin Fitzwater would know this first hand, since he was in this arena for 10 years. An added bonus for me was that he grew up in Abilene, Kansas & shared some of those stories.

Marlin wrote a wonderful book. I had the pleasure of meeting Marlin several times during the Bush Administration. I was a young Marine assigned to Marine One. Years later, I reconnected with Marlin at a book reading / signing in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
