NeNe Stetson works for Ebony Goddess Magazine and she’s a good writer with a bright future.
But then at a company retreat, she finds out along with everyone else that her magazine has been sold to the billionaire Devon Wilde. He’s her new boss.
Girl, this white boy is FINE. But he’s got a bad reputation.
He’s immediately feeling NeNe. But she’s not that kind of girl. Is she? She can’t do anything with her boss. Can she?
I mean, the man is handsome! And he makes a strong argument that they should have a fling for the few days that their on the retreat and then go back to a more professional workplace relationship.
Fine. She says yes. She’s probably not thinking straight but it feels so good. This white boy is NASTY! He makes NeNe want to get NASTY! Nasty nasty nasty! That’s all she can think as they creep around doing the nasty.
Nasty NeNe - that’s her name now.
But then the retreat ends and so does their fling. What’s gonna happen to them if they’ve caught feelings? Will they forget and move on? Will Devon act the fool and hurt NeNe? Will she smack him upside the head? Or will it just be a love tap?

I like the book but could have been a little longer. I only had a problem with how fast it jumps from the resort to him given up his job. It is like a part was left out. But the characters were great. Devon and Nene wasn't trying to fall in love but did and got there happy ending.
These stories all seem to revolve around men with large sums of money. These women are fortunate to make these connections and they deserve them. I enjoy reading them for the love that comes forth.
This was an OK read. There were a lot of errors, so that diminished the flow of the story. It almost felt like a story from a first time author, it was sorta juvenile in the delivery, it could have been the errors because they threw the prose off.
Devon Wilder, Billionaire, Playboy and newly announced CEO of the famous Ebony Glamorous Magazine thought he’d have a weekly retreat flight bf with NeNe Stetson; after all what’s done at the retreat STAYS at the retreat! The both agree on the fling with NO attachments, but neither of them informs their hearts 💕
Eh. This book is just not quite doing it for me. I want even sure where they were. And did this happen in a manner of days? Cute story but not believable enough for me.
