Jennifer Carlisle’s position as an administrator at Flowerhill General Hospital is becoming more complicated and dangerous by the day. Angry citizens protest the hospital’s new policy denying ACA claims, and Jennifer’s position as a liaison to the increasingly disgruntled janitors and security guards puts her in real physical jeopardy. When tragedy strikes the ward, Jennifer and handsome surgeon Dr. Parker Stone are swept up into the center of the ensuing controversy. More heated scrutiny falls on them and onto the hospital, inspiring more protests, increasing tension in the hospital, and turning friends and associates against one another in a power struggle which none of them will be able to contain. Will Jennifer’s new love with Parker survive, or will it collapse under the weight of the pressures that continue to mount around them? Will the hospital survive, or will greed and sorrow be the undoing of the venerable Los Angeles institution. Lives are at stake, perhaps even her own, but Jennifer can’t back down; there’s too much lose, and she’s come too far. Whatever the price, Jennifer will pay it, even the ultimate price.
Does she have bad juju, did she bring bad juju with her or does she just attract bad juju?
Complete Surrender is the third book in the Flowerhill Medical Romance series and opens with a fantastic scene of Jennifer Carlisle and her hunky Dr. Parker Stone enjoying themselves in some oral pursuits. Things may be going well between Jennifer and Parker but at Flowerhill Hospital there are still things happening with Jennifer being blamed. It seems she may have "bad juju" or something but really it is just something going on deeper down.
This book is a bit heavier on the mystery and suspense side of the story regarding the hospital. So even though it was still a nicely crafted continuation it was a bit harder for me to get through. That being said when Jennifer and Parker are in a scene together things get hot and steamy, especially in the hot tub and some truth regarding feelings are pounded out between them.
I found this story to be good and entertaining, this story continue the story of Jennifer, you get caught up in the fierce twists and turns and hot chemistry. I am intrigued to find out how the end of the story goes.
