Rate this book
Most women think that once they've reached age 40, their chances of getting married are almost non-existent. Yet each year 275,000 American women 40 or older beat the odds and tie the knot. In Getting Married After 40 , one hundred women share their fascinating and often moving stories of how they met men, overcame their fears, survived first dates, impressed potential stepkids, and other crucial dating and mating issues. These women, all savvy, self-confident, and articulate, don't pretend it was easy. But the rewards, they insist, are well worth it for any woman willing to take the plunge. Their stories reveal the pleasures and the pitfalls of post-40 marriages, and offer practical, thoughtful advice on encouragement for any woman who wants to find a good man to love.

I was going down one of the isles in the library and I saw this book, I figured it was a sign so I decided to check it out.

It was interesting, had some good advice and interesting stories from 100 women who got married after 40. It covered from finding, first-date, weddings, finances, children (his, hers and theirs).

You know it was ok. Whatever, let's just see if it helps any...don't hold your breath.
