Looking out from his farmhouse porch on Route 6 in Ohio, a young boy relishes in the predictable change from dawn to day. His life however goes from predictable to wondrous when Bingleman sets up his midway. Moser’s full page watercolors brings the allure of the circus to life.

I think this was a bit beyond my two year old's grasp. For a 6 or 7 year old, I think this would be a good story. There just weren't enough pictures to hold a younger child's attention.
