Great overview of western art history with focus on Christian art. I especially enjoyed the principles of art as expressed in the Bible using the Tabernacle as a model (especially her argument that the Bible allows for abstract art), and her open and ecumenical coverage of artists who were not orthodox Christians and in some cases not even Christians. Also contains beautiful art to view and learn from.
