Phew! After a dull 3rd entry to the series, its now back on form. I love Joan's take on dragons - fire that burns backwards through time? Hell yeah! The changing relationship between the three main characters kept everything fresh. While there is still a little redundancy in some of the dialogue, it was far less of an issue and I breezed through this book and into Book 5.
