Mia's Quest

Mia is a young bird who longs for adventure and is determined to end the ten-year long war between her kind, known as the noble Grey’s and that of the mighty yellow Griffins. This won’t be easy however, since no one in authority will explain to her how the war started or why it is still being fought, including her father who is also Captain of the Guard. In an unlikely turn of events her best friend Dobbett and an optimistic young bird named Ezran decide to join her on the quest to find a forgotten Warrior in a dark forest, who can hopefully give them some answers. As the journey continues to unfold, they discover unknown civilizations, a cranky gnome, and a mouse who carries a very big secret. The question remains, will Mia and her friends be able to unravel the mysteries surrounding the war and end it in time to save her kind?

Ashley grew up on a cattle ranch in South Eastern Colorado where she spent many hours surrounded by beautiful countryside and wonderful animals. She enjoys reading as many books as she can find, mostly about fantasy/elves/dragons/knights and good winning over evil and cuddling as many furry animals as possible!

Ashley hopes to inspire readers of all age to believe in themselves, and ecourage each other to find the gifts that set them apart. She believes our Lord and Savior created us all with amazing talents to be shared with one another.

When she's not off on her own adventure, or writing about magical worlds, she enjoys dabbling in photography and spending time with her wonderful family.
