While being outdated and having some anecdotes that seem far fetched, overall it provides a good historical look into prominent islands within Nova Scotia and New Brunswick that nonetheless are often overlooked. This book is made even more important due to the fact many of these islands are still inhabited despite the odds or are now protected sites.
