Earlier this year I saw this excellent version of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde at the theatre & it was one of the best plays I had seen in a long time. Nick Lane adapts the classic Robert Louis Stevenson story for the stage & actually improves upon the original. Reading it was almost as good as seeing it on stage.
I hope to see Blackeyed Theatre's next production in 2023, when Nick Lane will adapt Arthur Conan Doyle's The Valley of Fear. Let's hope he can breathe as much life into Sherlock Holmes as he did with Henry Jekyll.
