This Harlequin Super Romance has been sitting on my shelf since the days I had the above ground pool and I would sit in it for hours and read my mail-order paperbacks from a variety of clubs. This was one that I thought - meh - I'll get to some day. I didn't want to loss it, or donate but I just didn't quite get to read, along with a whole shelf full that still sits there and torment me from time to time. I really need that shelf for other things but I can't bear to just get rid of a book without giving it a fair chance of at least a few pages perused.
Well, this was actually a pretty good read. It was quite suspenseful in the drama and romance department as well as the personal childhood area. I quite liked it and couldn't put it down toward the end. I forgot how these books played up their hunka hunka burning loves. ha ha
I only regret that it kept me from reading a library book that has a time limit - but I have to read it on my computer screen and I'm just not keen on that -- currently. This was a distraction from that and I could read it in bed with no guilt.
