Only a committed conjuring bibliophile would read this highly specialised book which deals comprehensively with various old conjuring books pre 1850. You would have to be very wealthy to own them nowadays as they have become very scarce and many collections have been donated to various libraries around the world. This book was published in 1972, fifty years ago so things have changed a lot since then. For example the author talks of an auction price for Reginald Scot's "The discoverie of witchcraft" of £700
