ReviewsI always feel thrilled when they are together on their bikes on some unknown roads- my dream adventure. Even historical descriptions don't seem boring when these three stooges are invading the peaceful historical sites. The author has taken great pains to research their travels and present them in a fun, lighthearted fashion. You will find as I did that not only is India geographically diverse but ethnically diverse as well. Much more than a motorcycle story, you won't be disappointedIt's a great read and really makes you feel like you're riding along with the 3 Amigos as they get up to their usual shenanigans while riding somewhere a little less trodden.I am Ketan's fan. This book is much more than a motorcycle adventure. I am amazed at the level of research that Ketan has done painstakingly. It must have been a huge task to research about everything and then compile it after shortening it to suit the lenght of the book. Frankly, I have never read so much history in my life, not even during my school days. But this time, no doubt, I enjoyed it immensely. This book can be categorized as the history book of Gujarat. Gujarat- a state rich in culture is so full of amazing stories that it immediately creates the interest to take a sabbatical from work and hop on your bike for a nice ride to a state that was one of the most affected one by various invasions in the country.
Coming back to the ride of the three amigos, I always feel thrilled when they are together on their bikes on some unknown roads- my dream adventure. Even historical descriptions don't seem boring when these three stooges are invading the peaceful historical sites. This book is about their fifth ride together, and beleive me, it certainly makes you see Gujarat in a completely new light. Keep ready your pen-paper or the highlighter, if you are interested in remembering some historical stories (my favourite is the one about doctor-raja). Keep yourself ready for a laugh-out-loud session. Highly recommended for those who are as interested about the history behind a place as are in visiting the place.

Another great travelogue.... With motorcycles!

I've been following the amigos on all their adventures and this is another good one. The author has taken great pains to research their travels and present them in a fun, lighthearted fashion. You will find as I did that not only is India geographically diverse but ethnically diverse as well. Much more than a motorcycle story, you won't be disappointed.
