What if Darcy and Elizabeth’s paths had not crossed again after his hurried departure from Netherfield? It has been weeks since scandal hit the Bennet family and Elizabeth Bennet is becoming more frustrated with every passing day. As much as she adores her father, she wonders how he will ever find her sister when he has never really seen the true depth of Lydia’s cunning. Soon Elizabeth feels compelled to join the after all, who else besides her family cares about their predicament? The hopelessness of her endeavour comes as no surprise to Elizabeth. How does one find a girl who does not wish to be found, especially in a crowded city like London? But she will not give up—not even when the odds are stacked against her. Then the unthinkable happens. Elizabeth encounters a gentleman she once knew who at once holds the keys to finding her sister and the prospect of a future she could never have imagined.
Started well enough but was ultimately very shallow and often illogical. Elizabeth was too quickly in love. From about half way lots of things didn’t make sense and I started skim reading to get to the end. Not worth the money.
