مريم تحبّ‮ ‬أن تعجن،‮ ‬وتقضي‮ ‬أوقاتاً‮ ‬في‮ ‬تحضير المعجنات وخصوصاً‮ ‬المناقيش‮. ‬تعجن المنقوشة بيديها القويتين،‮ ‬ثمّ‮ ‬تقدّمها لرفاقها بابتسامة رائعة تنبع من قلبها الطيّب‮..
ولم تنتهِ‮ ‬الحكاية ها هنا،‮ ‬فخلف مناقيش مريم حكاية أخرى هي‮ ‬حكاية مريم التي‮ ‬تعاني‮ متلازمة داون‮.‬

- Author of many children’s books for different age groups: (2-5), (5-7), and (7-10)
- Manager of Al Hadaek Publishing House; a Lebanese publishing house specialized in Arabic children’s books and magazines since 1987
- Previous editor-in-chief of two children’s magazines: “Touta Touta” (4+) and “Ahmad” (7+)
- Till now, Dr. Mheidly has written more than 75 Arabic books for children, conducted reading lectures at several universities in Lebanon, and hosted many workshops in Lebanon and the Arab world.
