This is a *wonderful* anthology recommended to me by a colleague for my dissertation. When studying the time period in question 1923-1936, it is often forgotten that there even was something known as "vanguard prose" in an era that produced some of the best poetry and theater in the history of Spanish literature. The anthology itself is truly representative of the movement, including authors such as Corpus Barga, Valentín Andrés Álvarez, Antonio Espina, and Juan Chabás, not to mention the "big guns"--canonical authors such as Lorca, Salinas, Diego, etc.
This is definitely an understudied area in Spanish philology and Proceder a sabiendas goes a long way towards rectifying that gross oversight by the academy.
