Poor Sky is just going through it. Sky meets Huncho while he’s looking for his sister. They instantly connect but there’s one problem Slim bxtchass. Slim is Sky’s pimp/ “bf” who refuses to let Sky go. Hopefully Slim gets his.

Getting Saved!!
I just knew that that was going to happen and Brielle make me sooooooooooooo sick. She wanna be down so bad but now she may have to suffer the consequences because she did sign the contact. I somewhat had a feeling the reason for Sky change of behavior had to do with a baby, but I thought she was forced to get an abortion never would've thought she had the baby and had to give it up. Huncho is BAE already because he has that protection mode without even knowing Sky like that. I wonder who's trying to start beef within Nette and Major marriage. Slim is so evil and I'm ready for him to get eliminated. The saddest part was when Zakir got killed I swear I cried real tear man, I felt so sorry for him. So ready to see what part 2 is going to bring as always great job Diamond Johnson

This was a pretty good read.... This book read at a nice steady pace... It brought some things to light that we can see happen to a lot of these poor young naive woman... They start looking for love in all the wrong places a lot of times because they haven't had the love of a real man or a father figure to show them... Then we have these men that prey on these poor young woman and just destroy their lives...
I like Sky... I just really hate that one decision to try and help her family because her mother didnt care... Caused her to make the worst decision of her life... She was doing all that she could to help her grandmother and her little sister... Now she is trapped in a world that she just can not get out of...Now look at how mentally she is broken and there is nothing that no one can do to help her... She is trying to save her sister Brielle from this horrible life that she is now living... But Brielle only sees the material things and is not listening to reason at all... I guess she is going to end up learning the hard way...
Brielle is staring to go in the wrong direction in life... Everything that her sister Sky tried to protect her from is what she is drawn to...Then when their mother came back around and dropped this bomb on her and with her grandmother not doing to well... She is really set on ruining her life.. She is going to learn the hard way... That flashy life that looks great is not what it seems... Let's hope she does not destroy herself in the process of learning...
Slim just gets on my nerves... How can he say that he treats his woman better than his old man did... How can he say that he really cares for Sky yet she is the one that he hurts the most... Then when ever he is mad for any reason he is taking his anger out on her... He needs to realize that without her... His organization would go down hill because we all know that it is because of her that is business is so successful... He better get it together before he loses everything...
I like Huncho... I mean I did not like the way he handled Sky when he first met her... But he is really and all around good guy... He has all these legal business... He is a great mentor to these kids... He is always giving back and he makes sure these kids do their best in school so they can make something of themselves... He rewards them for good grades so that makes these kids really put forth the effort to learn... There is one kid named Zakir that he is really attached to and sees his potential... His only problems is Zakir has an older brother that is leading him down the wrong path... But Huncho is doing all that he can to save him... wait a minute I just can't believe that his brother really got him caught up like he did... Why...
Although Huncho came at Sky the wrong way... He has a good heart... But he going about things the wrong way and it is causing way to much drama for Sky... All because of Slim being jealous and his snitching driver... And it has really turned Sky's life upside down... I really hope that Huncho can save her and help her get the life that she deserves before it is to late...
Now see Brielle really has everyone in a bad situation... Slim with his greed has really gotten him caught up this time... So what will happen with Brielle now... Will Sky finally get to go home and see her grandma before it is to late... Will Huncho really be able to save her... I guess i will see in part 2...

Wow!!!
This book definitely had some crazy things going on for real. You have to wonder are people really living like this but than you stop and think it could definitely be happening. Girls trying to be grown before time or just needing to help out there family and getting into crazy situations. This definitely had my emotions all over the place but one thing for sure Brielle needs to be brought back down to size. Her jealousy of Sky is crazy being that Sky was the one that made sure she was good pretty much all her life. She can't honestly think Sky's life is sooo good when she came around plenty of times beat up and/or limping barely able to move but she will definitely learn. Now Huncho and Major definitely seems to be what she didn't know she needed. Part 2 is going to be crazy!!!

Hummm....Mannn how much can one take? I guess Sky is the limit!
This is a very hard intro and hard book so far and many times, I thought of stopping because truthfully this is not what I signed up for.
Askya "sky" went thru so much stuff and so much other stuff that whatever you think you are going thru or went thru couldn't possibly come close to what this is being talked about. May as well be high and beaten than going thru this.
Huncho well he is the savior, the alpha and I can't wait to read more about him.
The power couple of Major and Antoinette truthfully didn't have its place in this book because everything was good in their world, but since the spotlight is on them, one must create some kind of problem...(don't make sense at all)!
So far only the man have BFF and these two ladies, nothing, but let see how the next book comes in.

Wow!!
Sky was young and dumb and pissed me off just running into a stranger losing her virginity and turning into a prostitute in a matter of hours. Slim is beyond sick ugh I wanted to jump in the book and kill his ass every time he was mentioned. Brielle lil young ass don’t know what she has gotten herself into. As irritated as I am with Sky I hope Huncho can save her from Slim’s deranged ass. I’m still tryna figure out why Major and his wife are even apart of this story, they just don’t fit in my opinion. I could’ve really done without the addition of them. Overall good read I’m ready for part two.

They say pimping ain’t easy, however this big black ass nicca did. Slim is ruthless and treacherous monster that doesn’t deserve to even be doing what he’s doing. Don’t get me wrong he make sure that his ladies are taken care of but his greed is going to get him the karma he needs. I can’t believe Sky sister wants to be like her so bad to the point of prostitution. Yes women need love from some form of father figure but this here is so much of a low blow for any woman or child. I can’t wait till Huncho gets Sky out of the predicament she’s in. The thing I love the most is the love ❤️ Major and his wife “budda” have. Welp I’m off to the next book.

Whelp, these are consequences that happens when truths are not told and situations are hidden. I feel very emotional right now, because our actions definitely speak louder than words. This is depressing to read right now, because I feel I'm experiencing this as well. Brielle should know better and stop being hard headed, but a hard head makes for a soft bottom so the saying goes. All I can say is the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Sky letting a stranger take her virginity for 10 racks wasn’t all cut out to be what she thought. Slim was intimidating, malicious and dangerous oh and a pimp. The promises he made were never fulfilled and he made Sky life a living hell. Now baby sister is asking for what she definitely isn’t ready for. This book is amazing as always I love Diamonds books because they speak volumes.

Bring on Part II
I loved reading this story. I cannot wait to read what comes next. I want to whoop Brielle’s a** she sees her sister bruised and battered but is drawn to Slim...not only that but Slim is her sisters man and she is lusting after him??? That little girl is lost. Something tells me that Slim & Brielle are going to get involved with each other in part II. I hope Askiya is reunited with her daughter.

I’m from MIAMI so I love to support authors who are from MIAMI , but I looked for a more descriptive view of MIAMI in the book. I thought you would’ve name some projects like Lincoln field , poka beans , brown subs. Or name the known prostitution areas like 79th st or Biscayne. None of that was in the book. Other than that you had a few grammar issues here and there , but it still was a GOOD read.

Wow I am at lost for words. First of all Slim is the devil himself! I can’t believe the shit he puts Sky through. I can’t wait until he finally gets his. Huncho is everything and I hope he can save poor Sky from hell. Brielle is just lost and idk what to even say about her. Anyways this books is amazing. There were minor errors, but that can’t take from how good this story is. I can’t wait to read more. Great job!

This book was good. Not great. It just seemed flat until closer to the ending. I can see Slim & Huncho shooting it out. Slim is a special type of crazy. I know Sky wishes she never got in that trunk that night. And the fact that Brielle is trying to follow in her footsteps is crazy. She’s so young and lost. Ready to sell her soul for some designer. I’m waiting to see what happens in book 2.

I really liked this one. I don’t like Brielle though or Naja. I really hope Sky and Skylar get reconnected. When that happened to Zakir I almost cried. This was a good read. It’s been awhile since I’ve read from this author but I’m definitely not disappointed.

Love this book from beginning to end couldn’t really put it down. I hope sky beat the shit out of her sister. Everything she did was for her and her granny and she have the nerve to go do some dirty mess like this behind her back. It’s a shame but she will see the grass ain’t so green on the other side now.

Slim is scum and I can't wait until Huncho kills him! Askiya deserves so much more than the lifestyle that Slim has her living. Great read!
It’s a bit different than my normal read but it was a good page turner. I hate Slim with a passion and can’t wait for his demise. I can’t understand the sister’s purpose in her actions besides the fact that sometimes envy will make you walk with the devil. Can’t wait for part 2
It’s a bit different than my normal read but it was a good page turner. I hate Slim with a passion and can’t wait for his demise. I can’t understand the sister’s purpose in her actions besides the fact that sometimes envy will make you walk with the devil. Can’t wait for part 2

I’m a huge fan of Diamond Johnson but I have to admit she exceeded what I expected in this book!! I loved the plot, drama, element of family, heartache, and love demonstrated in this story. She has shown once again why she is one of the best authors in the game!! I loved it and I can’t wait for Part 2!!!!!
