I heard of this book while reading the Eagles of Heart Mountain. Milton Eisenhower was the first man hired to over see the interment of the Japanese in WWII. A job he didn’t agree with and he couldn’t do long… but it mentioned that he work for 8 presidents. The book is a mix of a memoir and his thinking about our politics. So much of the issues he brought up in 1973 are still relevant today. Gun control!!! I can’t believe he was saying (as a Republican) we needed gun control and this is still a discussion we are having today.
