This is a great traveling book. The maps in the book and the laminated pull out map are very helpful in connected the mentioned locations together in the big picture. The bus and tram color coded map is so helpful since the locations he mentions are color-coded the same color as the bus/tram routes that the routes can take you.

We visited Western Europe in the summer of 2019 and we spent so long trying to find the right buses and routes to take to get to certain locations in the bigger cities, especially London. If we had had a map like this one, we maybe would have spent less time getting from point A to point B.

I liked how each location’s descriptions were short and concise but still filled with helpful information and pictures. The little tips and boxes of the address, telephone numbers, hours, price, etc. are really nice to have. When planning to travel, it can be so hard to find which websites are the most trustworthy and accurate. Fodor’s will hopefully be my travel guide in the future.

I picked up the 2020 version and sadly many of the famous boutiques have since closed. But the layout is really helpful and intuitive.

Great, specific information on Edinburgh, Scotland. Details on locations and sites to visit, shopping, restaurants, hotels - it's all here, with opening hours, maps, and contact information all included. A great smaller guide to include with a more comprehensive guide.
