This is the first monograph about the Moscow religious and philosophical group The Way and its role in the political cultural, intellectual life of pre-Revolutionary Russia. Among members of this influential neo-Slavophile association were well known Russian N.A. Berdiaev, S.N. Bulgakov, M.O. Gershenzon, V.I. Ivanov, E.N. Trubetskoi, etc. The book includes a review of the ideological positions of the group, a detailed description of its creative and propaganda work, and an analysis of their publication practice. This monograph contains a great number of newly discovered documents and information from St. Petersburg, Moscow and New York archives.
